We are lucky enough to provide entertainment at Milton Court as a mum/daughter duo.We always receive a friendly welcome from the Pink ladies/Gents" who ensure we have everything we need for our session. The residents are always happy and excited to see us! They are engaging and spritely and seem comfortable in their surroundings. We look forward to returning!"

We took the decision to take my mother in law here from hospital as we wanted better care. The team in the Buckingham Suite cared for her until end of life and we are eternally grateful. She was kept very comfortable and would highly recommended to anyone who requires nursing care. Thank you one and all from the bottom of our hearts The Demner family.

Milton Court is definitely not the place I'd recommend for anyone- with neglectful staff and management. My mother developed large bedsores on her back after only a week of being there, staff did not informed us about it, it was easy as mum did not communicate clearly anymore. It was external nurse who get in touch with us to share her concerns. We've taken mum away the same day however she died within 40 hours after. Before she went into this place she was able to walk however the paramedics had to carry her to our home. Something that started as a simple respite stay in reputable place quickly turned into a nightmare I will never forget.

Both our parents spent their final years at MCCH, both suffered different forms of dementia. I was profoundly grateful that the home was prepared to take both of them so they stayed together as a couple, despite their differing needs. Two years on, after Dad passed away, the home was sold on to Avery. The transformation was miraculous. The environment improved and staffing was addressed.I cannot praise the home enough for the care and love they gave to our parents. In her last 4 years as a widow, with slight dementia and severe speech aphasia due to a stroke, she could not have been better cared for if she was the Queen. She was genuinely loved. I saw many tender moments and small kindnesses by the staff when they were unaware I was there. Mum knew she was cared for by good people. It is a difficult thing to leave someone so vulnerable in the care of strangers, but they became true friends and Mum became part of their family.Cleanliness, catering and entertainment were all excellent. Mum had a lovely room. As with any family dealing with the decline and horrors of the disease with a loved one we had some tough and emotional times. I can only say that those times were dealt with in a professional and genuinely caring way. We mattered as a family to MCCH , it was not just Mum's journey.I would have no hesitation in recommending MCCH to someone searching for a safe and loving home for someone needing care. As a family, we remain grateful for all they did for all of us. Mum was treated with respect and she died with dignity and at peace. We were all cared for at this difficult time by people who were truly humane. We could not ask for more.Thank you to all the staff, too numerous to mention here, but you know who you are. Our parents were lucky to have known you all.J Cuthbertson

Milton Court Care Home is a gorgeous home. Its not just a care home but a big family. People are treated with dignity and respect. Its a shame I am too young as I wouldn't mind living there. Oh and the food is amazing :)

My mother moved here from Willen Hospice for “end of life care”I initially found this very difficult to accept as for the last two years I had done everything for her, and didn’t think anyone would be able to care for her as well as me.I was very wrong, the care she received on level three was amazing. The staff met all her care needs day & night. The food was really well cooked, if I was not around a member of staff would sit next to he and feed her.“Willen At Home” nurses would still come to visit & call the staff to check how she was doing (which was another concern for me at the begining )Towards the end the staff made me feel very welcome when I stayed over at night time. Always explaining what was happening. The Bistro on the ground floor, was a nice place to escape to without being too far away. She spent 8 weeks there before passing away peacefully.I would definitely recommend Milton Court to anyone who like myself has very high standards.I felt that I also made some lovely friends whilst she was there.Thank you all so much ❤️

My Father stayed there a few months and almost died from sepsis, due to the neglicence of the staff, despite my daily visits and requests for better care. We were actually paying for 1-2-1- care, but he was not getting that. If I had not acted promptly by calling an ambulance on 999, he could have died and they would be explaining his death to the coroner. He was rushed to hospital and a Safeguarding investigation was triggered. The managers and owners were very lucky to escape a criminal investigation. Now, 18 months later, they have sent us an incorrect invoice for an outstanding amount which they say we owe them. In fact, they owe it to us, but we had not bothered to pursue that amount, glad to wash our hands of them, and money being the last thing we cared about. The manager is the same person.
