A Day To Remember

As far as wedding shopping goes, I'm a complete novice, walking into A Day To Remember my mum and I were greeted by a lovely young lady, who helped us achieve a day we would never forget. I had no idea what type of dress I wanted, yet we were given time to select a few dresses to try, and advised comprehensively how the dresses were arranged in order to try the most styles. After a couple of tries, and a some feedback my ever patient assistant delved into the racks and found what was soon to become my dress. This stunning piece fit beautifully, clung in all right places and looked amazing. I couldn't believe it was me in the mirror! Catherine, (forgive me if I spelt that wrong!) You were simply fantastic! Without you, I never would have found what I was looking for. Thank you for making the experience for my mum and I one we will never forget.

Incredibly rude staff member. We turned up to look at bridesmaids dresses at 4 for a quick browse as the store wasn't advertised as closing until 4.30. Despite being the only people in the shop she wouldn't allow us to try on any dresses and informed us she would be closing in 5 minutes. Her tone was so unpleasant and we were made to feel so unwelcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Avoid

I visited back in April and cannot recommend highly enough.I had never tried on a wedding dress before so wasn’t sure what to expect but nothing was too much trouble and we were all made to feel so comfortable and welcome.There was a great selection of dresses and they were priced very reasonably.I ended up finding my dream dress which I absolutely love.Really grateful for such a lovely experience.

Had amazing experience at A Day To Remember, staff are really friendly and approachable nothing was to much bother. They helped me to choose my perfect bridal gown. They have a big choice of beautiful bridal and bridesmaid dresses and good mix of all sizes. I had 9 bridesmaids and 2 flowergirls, the staff were brilliant with them. I have since been back to purchase evening gowns and have friends that have been here as well. I recommend anyone looking for their perfect dress should go here you will not be disappointed.

Really good friendly helpful service. We went for a prom dress on an inset day. It was really quiet and we had 4 hours trying on different dresses. Usually very busy though and you need to book appointment. Biggest selection of prom dresses in Chester. Prices from £85 upwards with quite a bit of choice under £120. Can get alterations done in shop as well.

Catherine is a very hard working lady, no pressure to buy, very useful information, and a great range of prom dresses. My daughter was very happy with her chosen dress. Wishing you all the best for the future.

Had a wonderful experience yesterday looking for wedding dresses. I'm not a person to enjoy shopping at all but I felt so at ease and got some amazing advice regarding the dresses. Fantastic eye for what suited me and on my first trip I've found the dress! Thank you so much for all your help!!!

Absolutely love it here and would reccommend to anyone! Such a huge range to choose from including Bridal and Bridesmaids gowns for my wedding. The staff were really friendly and efficient too. I had been to other Bridal shops and felt uncomfortable and out of place. A Day To Remember were so welcoming and put me at ease straight away. They can't do enough for you. Choosing my dress was the best experience, with great service and advice.

I wanted to order the black Tiffany's Abbie dress and the website was showing it in stock in my size. However, I was keen to ensure it was actually in stock before I placed an order (as I had recently experienced this problem with another company). I received a quick response to my initial enquiry and subsequent questions. I dealt with two staff members and both were very friendly and helpful. I was told upfront about the delivery charge and the dress arrived in perfect condition on the expected date. I am very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a prom/evening dress!
