Was quite pleasantly surprised, it’s right opposite Preston park in Brighton, but was a great location for me to pop to my meetings in Falmer. There is a car park, and Eden though I arrived quite late in the evening there were still spaces.Seven quid for a 24hr parking through the app. Frustrating it’s not included in the stay.Quite a warm welcome on arrival, and my room (room 5) was exactly what I needed: quiet and out of the way. Comfy bed, and decent shower.I was on the ground floor so the trolley out of the window was a weird view.

stayed at this travelodge again last night and once again we were extremely happy with all aspects of it. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable . The staff were all very helpful and friendly , especially Jamie who was at reception on our arrival and served us in the bar during the evening . Will defintely stay again next time we visit Brighton

On the plus side, the price was reasonable, £70 + £7 parking for 1 night. Location perfect for an event in Preston park. Also, staff were friendly and helpful. However, the cleanliness of the room needs improving. Carpet smelly, bathroom smelt of mildew, and windows looked like they had never been cleaned since the hotel was built!

Disgusting hotel.Stayed in a lot of travelodges across the UK and I’ve never had an issue. Yes you know what you’re getting but I generally find them very nice. This place was awful. Stayed in room 104. TV didn’t work, both chairs were broken, dirty bathroom and bed seemed like it was broken.Dirty old, broken ironing boards in the hallway, paintwork was damaged throughout and extremely loud through the night.Massive let down compared to the majority of others

Great friendly staff. Spectacular location. Parking available and cheap. £7 a day. It’s cheaper than many hotels and plenty of bus options to city. Enter. Don’t neglect the place but I have to tell you the negatives before you consider. The rooms cleanliness. First family room we got had smoking smell which came from previous guest. It was bad. No problem we changed it in 2 mins. The second room toilet smelled so bad and I think the last guy pissed everywhere in the toilet. I had to take wipes and cleaned up cause I wasn’t bothered to changed again. The breakfast is cheap at 9.50 per adult and kids are free. The problem is the food is preety bad Wetherspoon quality. But it’s convenient. If it wasn’t for cleanliness I would give it a four star. Maybe my bad luck.

It's a Travelodge but one of the good ones. Rooms are super simple but clean-ish. The plus rooms have lots of space. Sadly the bed is a bit old and not supporting your back.

I stayed here for a night last week and to be honest it was grim. The staff were friendly enough, no complaints there. However, it was a really hot day/night and whilst my colleague was supplied with a fan in his room mine was a complete sweatbox which made sleep really tricky. This was compounded by the fact I was in a first floor room with a window which opened out on the staff break area, with accompanying loud chat and smoke smells, not all of which were just tobacco. This meant I had to keep the window closed all night to avoid being disturbed. The room also smelt like it hadn’t been aired properly after the previous occupant, who had obviously also suffered from the heat given the BO heavy aroma of the whole room.In short, make sure you get a room on a higher floor, and don’t go if it’s hot.

30 min walk from the beach. the lanes is beautiful with many shops. the beach is fully of large stones and is not ideal for family to play, bournemouth is much better for family. one of the windows in the room cannot be locked, letting in outside noisy. we cannot sleep too well.

Best location 2 minute walk from the pier or shops. Hotel was very big , lifts up to rooms never had to wait. Room was great , looked out over a building but you could see the sea. Clean room would of given it five if it wasn't for the door. We came home after a few drinks and let go of the door. Even though it was a fire door apparently it didn't shut, we didn't notice until we left in the morning. Everything else I can't complain. Park in orange car park one road up £62 for two nights .
