One star review because I had my seconds done here in 2021 and after 2/3 weeks it he top came off so I went back and they put a new one on with a different piercer and it came out again because they didn’t do it tightly and I also had my nose pierced here before and the piercer made me clean my own nose and took ages to do it and eventually it had a keliod and I had to pay £80 for this to be removed so I don’t recommend hereI do recommend Megan in ink she is amazing and she does piercings for really good prices :)

I have always gone to Blue Banana for all of my piercings and would go anywhere else. Today I took my 8 year old to have her lobes done that she's been wanting for ages but bless her she is a nervous little bean about needles. The lady was absolutely brilliant. When my daughter needed to take a minute to breathe the lady would pause where she was and was so calm with her. A place I will continue to always get mine done and if my daughter wants more hopefully a place she will choose when she's older.

Just got my tongue pierced by Lou, great experience. I went in all shaky an came out smiling, keeping in mind the piercing. She talks you through it and after the preparation (disinfection, marking, etc) I basically blinked a slightest bit longer than normal and it was done. Great service and loved the shop!!

Every single piercings I’ve ever had here has been pierced wrong without fail. My belly button pickering for example, was piercing way too close to the surface of my skin and as a consequence ripped out through the front of my stomach entirely when it caught on my trousers taking them off. Another helix piercing I had ripped out on a water slide (which if pieced properly would never happen) and has now left a permanent awful scar on my ear.They won’t tell you if you don’t have the right anatomy for a piercing, which I learned as I went to another piercer as they inspected my very infected scaffolding piercing, which they said never would’ve been pierced my any professional they knew.Don’t be fooled by the cheap prices, there’s a reason for them.

Today I got my belly button pierced by Laura and had the best experience. After a bad experience the last time I got it pierced, Laura helped me and was so lovely. She spent such a long time making sure I was happy with the placement (even getting a second opinion from Lou) and allowed me to lay down for around 10 minutes afterwards. Honestly the best experience I have had getting a piercing and will definitely be coming back and asking for Laura! Definitely recommend, thank you!

Had a great experience, definitely come again to get piercing, the women made my nerves come down and talk me through everything thank you in love with my tongue piercing.

Had an awful experience during my forward helix piercing. The clamp got stuck and my piercing got infected a week after and have to take antibiotics. Also was pierced with a circular barbell for a forward helix piercing when every other piercing shop said it should be used with a labret. Prob why it didn't heal and had to take it out a week after as was infected and irritated . Now I'm on antibiotics. Also I had a higher lobe piercing last week that also had to be removed as the jewellery was too small for swelling and become so irritated. £75 down the drain for both piercings. The piercer doesn't seem very educated at all. Never had problems here before.
