I realised in the summer that my 15 year-old would soon be needing to make choices about his A levels, well before he's taken his GCSEs, and this threw us into a bit of a panic. He was at a 'fork in the road' between sciences and humanities rather earlier than we'd expected him to be. After several family discussions proved to be 'difficult', we felt it would be a good idea to involve a neutral third party. I remembered Career Analysts being very helpful when I was considering whether to change career in my thirties, so it seemed an obvious choice, and I'm so glad we did it. It was very helpful for my son to be able to approach this subject with an open mind and the results showed, among other possibilities, something which had been under our noses all along and seems very obvious now! Also some very interesting observations about his personality, the type of organisational structure he might enjoy working in, and his attitude to helping people directly or indirectly, which will help him in whatever career he decides to pursue. All very efficient and friendly too. It is a significant cost, but in relation to the amount of money you could spend 'drifting' into a career or degree which doesn't suit you, it seems well spent.

I briefed career analysts to consider the career path for both my children (girl aged 22 and boy aged 20). I was hoping that suggestions would be made that we hadn't yet considered. I was not disappointed. For my daughter I think that this experience will be lifechanging. For my son, it was inspirational. The whole experience well exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My Consultant was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. The well-written report was most insightful. I resonated with the findings, and I feel a lot better about my job hunt now.

I felt that the career analysts process was able to identify my personality strengths and fit them into some career recommendations which would be a good match for me. It was very interesting to find out what sort of career I’m suited to and would enjoy. I hope to have a more satisfying career ahead of me. I learnt about career options I had never heard of before, let alone considered! I felt like the meeting was a very positive experience.

I found using Career Analysts really helpful as it made me appreciate the qualities I have as an individual which perhaps I don't think about enough. Pamela was exceptional, I felt she really went to great effort to guide me with the consultation and I was impressed with her ability to understand me as a person having only met me once. She answered all of the queries I had and I feel she took a real interest in me and what I wanted to do moving forward. I didn't feel rushed and I really enjoyed attending the consultation. I feel she is a real credit and an asset to the organisation. It was great to have someone independent look at what I have achieved to date and this has given me the belief that I am a worthwhile individual. I think there were certain parts of the process which reinforced feelings I had about myself and there were others which made me consider things I hadn't necessarily thought about before. This exercise was definitely worthwhile.

The Career Analysts' experience was really useful in defining what steps I should be taking to make a positive career change. The Occupational Psychologist was very easy to talk to altogether a very relaxed session. Honest and realistic about the current job market/climate. I would recommend this. They are good. The individual report was absolutely invaluable

The guidance I received from Mary was everything I had hoped for and more. I was quite nervous to start with, but she put me completely at ease and for the duration of our session helpfully and at times very subtly directed me to understanding myself better and what qualities I had to offer. She seemed really passionate about helping me which was wonderful, and although she had the data from the questionnaires and tests to go on initially, what was particularly impressive was her ability throughout the course of the meeting to adapt her advice and recommendations based on what she learnt about me in more depth as we went along. One of my main hopes for the exercise was to come away with ideas of potential alternative career paths to explore, and she had so much knowledge and research to draw on that I really couldn't have been in better hands, and left feeling so much more positive and focused than I had done in a long time.Mary showed so much compassion and support to me during the session as well as offering sound advice, and I would highly recommend her (and the company) to anyone looking for some perspective on their skills and experience thus far and how best to apply them, as well someone to encourage a bit more self-belief and appreciation of one's self-worth.

This a strange review because it connects Career Analysts (CA) today with their predecessors, Vocational Guidance Association (VGA). CA bought VGA a few decades ago and greatly developed the methodology and in particular the details of the service. At the age of 23, with no idea what to do, I used VGA and they helped me to find my way into Marketing Communications. This has served me very well for over 40 years. I studied what CA offers now and truly I don't see anything else like it for Career Guidance. I think that for people in their 30s and 40s who are 'stuck' and want to change direction, this is the best way. We all use a GPS in the car to find our way around. Career Analysts is a kind of 'personal GPS' to help you find your true career direction. I hope all this helps.

HI LeoI just wanted to update you and show my appreciation for you and your colleagues help in guiding my son to his chosen career. We came to you in 2016 with a teenager who had been expelled from school and with no confidence or idea where his strengths lay. After William had completed the online test we came to Euston and saw the lovely lady Mary Chapman who sat with William and discussed in length about his aspiration’s.The change was obvious from our visit, William was motivated and focused individual he came straight home and registered at the local college on an IT level 3 Ext diploma course and we have just heard he passed and has been offered a place at Coventry University studying Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking!Thank you and your team, I have recommend your service to someone who needs help with her son too?
