Platinum Pre-Owned Cars

I paid just over £4000 for a 2009 BMW X3, march 27th 2022, , I've only driven max 300 miles, the gearbox is shot and car is un-safe to drive. I was given guarantees that the car was fully serviced, including gearbox plus an inspection, John also told me that he would never let a car leave his garage that wasn't fully safe and reliable. I have been trying to get a response from this company, after a month of trying via emails, WhatsApp, live hat on their website, phone calls, but NOTHING, no reply at all, yet when buying the car I had personal contact everyday, multiple times a day even.

Its not often i leave reviews really but with this i couldnt not do- just to warn potential new customers!!!A few annonymous 5* star reviews on Autotrader- very fishy! The experience i have had is far from 5*. This company doesn't even deserve 1* star but unfortunately its the lowest i can rate. Absolutely terrible garage, steer clear! If you want to buy a reliable car with no problems then this garage isn't for you. I should of followed my instinct and walked away but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Unfortunately for me I found out too late. John told me the timing chain needed changing and it would be done before I purchased it and collected it, it wasn't! 22hours I'd owned the vehicle for when the engine management light came on. Twice the car went back to be looked at, first with the timing chain supposedly being changed then again to be adjusted" minimal repairs that didn't actually fix the problem. They told me the car was sorted

John and Kelly, was fab over the phone and in person. Great custom and service from start to finish. They were happy to accoodate and answer questions. Really loved the quality of the car, and got best value for money overall. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!

Great service from John and Kelly. I Was looking at a few vehicles around the country but the one from platinum was the cleanest and best value of any of the vehicles I looked at. From initial enquiry through to delivery, service was impeccable. Keep it up guys, I'll be back for another when I need one next!

Bought a 2008 Mercedes c class at very short notice and service was excellent. A few dinks expected on any pre owned vehicle and they sorted a list of fixes in a 24 hour turn around. Even afterwards have provided service where required. Warranty was sorted and in place within 24 hours, also.Excellent value for money, professional staff, and a very happy customer. Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a pre-owned vehicle.

Worst car I have ever owned.Bought a car last year which was sent out with boarderline bald tyre and a pile of advisory's on the MOT. Had to take it for repairs to my local garage which were supposed to have been sorted when the car was bought.I have had to spend best part of £1000 over the last year due to breakdowns.Just found out that the log book was never sent off by the dealer when I collected the car, so I am now having to wait up to 6 weeks for a replacement V5 at my expense.

Bought a car from Kelly and John at Platinum a few months ago - car is still perfect and not had an issue since purchase, I can't reccomend the process of buying or the company enough to anyone.We had a small issue with the transfer of ownership of the car with DVLA, a fault we assume on their end, resulting in a fine being issued to myself. John and the team immediately offered their assistance to me and got the problem sorted there and then, without question.Wonderful people and if you're lucky you might meet Dave the dog!Cheers guysKyle

Would give 0 stars if i could.Sold me a car for 5.5k with a million issues, was unfit to be driven and would cost over 5k in repairs, lied to me and told me its safe to drive my kids around in, after me taking it back around 6 times for repairs and them doing the most minor repairs on it, yet i was told by two other garages it still wasn't safe to drive at all.Raised issues within warranty period yet the people completely ignored me and at the time I was pregnant with my 4th child and they just left me to drive a dangerous car with no offer to repair or refund the car.Absolutely awful company" would recommend avoiding

Service provided was exceptional. After contacting Platinum Pre-Owned Cars to see if they was interested in purchasing my vehicle, the professionalism was second to none. My car was purchased, collected from myself and the monies cleared into my account within the hour. Would highly recommend the service.
