The South East Hand & Foot Spa

Booked for pedicure and manicure with removal of previous shellac which was 80euro for my wedding. Called before saying but Came 8mins late due to prep and they said they didn’t have time for my pedicure, which I said fine just for hands then as I thought I can book somewhere else. Manicure took 10mins and then she asked my nail colour showed a basic design she refused said not enough time , so I said okay just french tip instead. She again refused as not enough time and then gave out I didn’t book the removal in first place which I then showed I did. Angrily she done, each nail was a different size (asked for square) and white tip as she was in a rush and still ended up paying 45euro, which I am going to have to get done again. Which i don’t understand as how 8mins out of both a mani and pedi leaves no time for my hands ? Worst experience and service I’ve ever received, not worth the money at all. I’d avoid

Had been coming here for years, but sadly, service, quality, and value have taken a nose dive. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone now. Alot of new staff with poor social and technical skills, who speak very little English. Their new policy of not allowing clients to choose their technician means you are at the mercy of whoever is free and in my experience, its been the very person who would never have repeat clients....the last five times in a row. Their prices have increased, yet their service standards have decreased. I got tired of paying money for them to do a hatchet job on my nails. Pedicures, the same. Save your money and time for a salon with competent staff who will treat you like a valued customer.

Had an appointment for mini pedicure and manicure, very disappointed with the whole experience, it would have been professional to let me know I was going to have a trainee, I have no problem, with a trainee,but do not charge the full amount, when you don't get the professional experience, both manicure and pedicure was so disappointing, ended up after 2 hours,having to walk out, while she was still looking after me, went over to the other side of salon, and started working on her next client, so please inform your customers, that on arrival if its OK with them, and have they the time to be sitting about for 2 hours.Should have special hours set aside for trainees so they can practice, and not put under pressure, it's professional nail technicians you want, not robots!

My daughter had a dreadful experience at the South East Hand and nail Spa. She booked her appointment online and then due to unforseen circumstances was going to be 15 minutes late, she rang ahead and informed them, the lady that answered the phone said its not a problem and come ahead. When my daughter arrived 15 minutes later, she was told there was no time to do her nails and that the cancellation fee was €10.50, my daughter is a student and this is not fair charging young girls fees like this. There is no empathy in any one of the people in this business and I really recommend that people keep away and don't use their service unless they want to be ripped off.

Further to my review on my visit for a de lux pedicure they have apologised and refunded the e20 which I have accepted . I have removed my 2nd review and as you can see I upped my stars to 3 . I appreciate your reply and refund and matter is closed .

I had appointment for 20th June and 40 e deposit was taken out of my 65e voucher even though it states department is e21. Due to circumstances I had to re schedule and known the 24 hr gap I looked up web and it states open Monday. Tried several times no avail couldn't do it online so first thing Tues goes did it. Asked twice what I owed was gold 5e along with voucher fine. When I went was asked for e45 . Asked why company policy couldn't talk to manager not there . I paid the e 45 in disgust which meant me pedicure cost e115. The lady did excellent job only one thing when she asked for more of the sugar massage there was mo more so could only do one leg . E mailed but mo reply as yet . Not the end of this matter NY a long shot.further to this review I received an apology and received my refund . I have accepted both and upped my stars . This matter is totally closed and I deleted my 2nd review . All down to human error and I have accepted that thank you

Had nails done afew times here. Had lovely experience both times with a lady nail artist and was happy with my nails.Unfortunately unlike most other hairdressers/ beauticians you cannot request who you have. Had the male this time doing my nails and I will not be returning. Very rude, made me feel like I was wasting his time being there. Asked for suggestions of what colour I should get and he replied “not part of my job to pick colours, hurry up and make up your mind”Also had afew marks on hand from blood test which he remarked on and joked he’d cover them up with nail polish as it ruins look of nails.Then saw another persons nails beside me which really liked concept of but he stated I could get them as my nails we’re too short and he didn’t have time (very easy design was asked to do)Nail technician who was free beside him kindly offered to take o Ed from him but he bluntly refused.It’s unfortunate as such a nice place one staff member (who I’ve also heard my friend complain about before) can let it down and turn away customers. He has a bad attitude for somewhere people go for an enjoyable time.Should really have staff requests. Not a good experience overall

Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. The lady doing my nails said she knew what I wanted but she didn’t because she had no English. She filed down my nails extremely short and done a different colour when I asked. When u kept saying it she kept saying yes but didn’t understand me.I was nearly two hours in there. They still charged me €45 and my nails are horrible and way to short and they couldn’t give me the nail art I wanted because they were too short so all they could do was give me a sticker. I will not be returning.
