I intended to have just a coffee.I was told there would be a wait for food.No worries. I enjoyed my coffee.When I saw the all day breakfastI changed my mind.Food was too long coming and was worth the wait.Excellent staff. Reccomended!

Poor Jess on her own, three people total.1 till and 1 card machine works.People have a go about them when run out of potatoes. They do not work for Asda, so can not buy stuff just like that, maybe the moaners buy your own jacket potato and get cafe to cook for you.

...loved this place. Proper English nosh, great value, lovely people. Could do with a little love decor-wise but who cares when the food is great value, well prepared and you can sit in the sun! A welcome contrast to lots of the over-priced, pretentiously described and meagre portions of some of the other eateries we tried nearby.

Fantastic little cafe fantastic service too, breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Good size portions. Don't just look at the menu look around on the walls too for all the other food and desert options available, failing that just ask Brenda what else is on offer when she comes to your table to take your order. It's lovely to find a old school cafe like this one. There is a pay and display carpark opposite too which starts at 70 pence for the hour bargain.

I went for the 3 course Sunday roast dinner & the food was perfect, tasty & cooked to perfection. A great selection of desserts were also available. Excellent value for money. Olivier & Freya, the waitresses, were very friendly & polite, despite being rushed off their feet. I would definitely visit again, if I was in the area.
