Food was ok, but I don't like this recent trend for limiting how long you have to dine. A table of 8 - 2hrs is barely enough time to enjoy 2 courses let alone 3. Won't be rushing back anytime soon

Can't comment on the rooms however tonight was busier than normal. It looked like they were a staff member or two down. There was a 60 minute wait for food which they made us aware of before ordering which was fine. The streak was dry and overdone but it was a good cut off meat. The chicken tikka wrap was spot on. Despite them being short staffed they made the best of a difficult situation so credit to them.No

The Littleover Lodge Hotel
Arrived to find a tired looking line of motel rooms. Stepping inside the room it was quite adequate for an overnight stay with a king size bed and well equipped ensuite with shower. We had the full breakfast next morning which was well worth the extra £4.50. Service was excellent. Ironic that a coat of paint on the outside would have made this a 5 star review.

Table was booked for 8 o clock for 11 people, we got called through at 8 but then we had to wait 40 minutes for food, our starters came to find that the chicken tikka skewers were still raw. We told the staff and the manager came out with NO apology and said what do you want some more starters? Absolutely NOT! The staff did not seem bothered that they could have just given us all food poisoning so we requested our deposit back. The manger spoke to the owner who did refund our money.

I have stay there 2 nights this week I found the rooms clean staff friendly food in the bar good and breakfast ok sausages could be a bit bigger good value

Went to the bar for a few drinks after not having been there for a year or so. The decor and setting was nice as always and the range of drinks was good apart from the fact they have stopped serving Carling. Music was good and the place was clean. The drinks were fresh and tasty, however the service was not great. There’s always one person at the bar that invariably lets a place down and in this case it was the middle aged bearded guy! (Not sure of his name). Rude obnoxious and ignorant. You know who you are !

Good atmosphere sat out on the patio with live music. Busy bar with a 10 / 15 minute wait to get served ( not normally that long ) could do with more bar staff on the busy nights.

Wonderful Sunday lunch. This was our second visit whilst on our annual holidays in Findern. The food on both occasions has been very good, but it is the exceptional staff that make this such a pleasurable experience.
