Went there to see la Traviata and it was a great experience. The building is beautiful. Couldn't help but imagine how people enjoyed opera in old times. The show was good, the production was amazing. And music was the best feature!

We went to see The Mongol Khan for opening night. Such a great show and would recommend to anyone if they ever perform in the UK again. Although the event was crowded staff moved queues along fairly quickly and were very helpful.

Lovely theatre. We saw We Will Rock You there in Aug 2023. Fab show.Comfy seats, good sound & a nice, pleasant, cool temperature for a long performance. Food & drinks are expensive but to be expected for the West End. We paid £3.40 for a soft drink, £7 for a small glass of wine & £4 for a small tub of mixed nuts. They could do with a few more toilet facilities as there were long queues for the ladies during the interval and at the end of the show.

Very comfy nice view from the upper circle - no snacks in the auditorium at the interval so you have to join the external queue, but a minor gripe for sure.Show was great, if you like Queen, if you didn’t know it was just a way of shoe horning and animating the songs , you’d be lost.Second half in particular is so hit to hit without any investment in what’s going on…. Apart from thinking which hit where / but at no point do you care an iota for the characters.

Wonderful architecture. Amazing performances. Staff are v helpful - usually! Many stairs to get to the various levels - although a lift is available. When it is raining, take care in the foyer as it's quite slippery on the beautiful flooring! The photographs are from the recent production of Peter Grimes.

Had attended to visit the Mongal Khan performance on 29/11/2023So, the problem with the set I found is the display for subtitles. For those sitting in the ‘Stalls’ the eye level of the performance and reading English subtitles when speaking Mongolian, was somewhat straining. It was more applicable to those sitting in the dress circle. I personally found the positioning of the display for subtitles not positioned well and not big enough. There was a hitch in one of the scenes, to which they had to re-do the performance. The intermission was also somewhat strange. The second half of the performance was longer than the first. So not balanced. The decor is more upkept compare to that of other theatres I’ve attended. The narrative about the Mongolian empire was somewhat overstretched. The plot is simply about, baby-swapping, betrayal, adultery, traditional rituals of Mongolian becoming a Khan ruler. Emotional segments and lots of moon scenic tones.Sadly, being an advocate of the Mongolian Empire history. I was expecting to be a little more epic and felt Genghis Khan would have depicted the story-telling with more shock and awe. A little flat for my liking.

Went to see the 7 Deaths of Maria Callas, what a fantastic opera! Sat quite high up on the balcony, third floor, seat 51. This was the final seat in the row, so there is a great deal of leg room, however my friend next to me in seat f50 didn’t has so much. The view is fine, however is slightly blocked at some parts to the left. There was also somebody a few rows down from us who kept standing up which blocked our view even more at times.Sound in the venue is great and the actual venue as a whole is absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend a visit here!

The venue is very nice, we were watching Opera La Traviara" . Our seats were in the balcony. 2 hours performance without interval was far to long. Seats are not designed for long sitting.Would definitely advise to have interval for any performance longer then an hour."
