A1 Batesy Skip Hire

I'll be honest, I was a bit apprehensive after reading previous reviews, but I'm glad I give them a try. From the office staff to the delivery drivers, the level of service I received was first class. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a mix up with the skip (my fault, not theirs). I needed a bigger skip than the one that was ordered and they had it out within an hour. Also when I phoned them to uplift the skip, it was collected on the same day. Highly recommend ☺️

Very pleased with service. Skip arrived 2 hours after phoning & it was picked up 2 days later after phoning that morning. Very professional staff.

Bates collected their skip at the request of a neighbour when it was placed outside my door and not blocking anyone’s parking or pedestrians. The invoice and payment came from me but they didn’t inform me they were collecting. They responded to a neighbour who then asked them to put their rubbish that was on the street into the skip as well. When I called them and asked them about it they made excuses and said they had the right to collect it according to the notes on the receipt. I asked them to read it out. The girl started to read it but it didn’t say what she claimed it said so she hung up on me. Very rude and very rough people to deal with. Not professional in the slightest. I don’t recommend them.

Absolute shambles of customer service. Phoned for skip collection, and was told by the person on the phone that we had a two week lease of the skip, and we would be charged an extra £850 because we had had it for longer.I knew we had agreed when I got the skip there would be no time limit placed on it. I challenged him, to which he claimed he had only been 'joking'. Were they actually prepared to fleece someone who didn't know any better? Complete joke regardless.

Skip arrived on time which was good (hence the 2 stars). However, when work was complete the company took almost 3 weeks to lift it. I called them every few days and they said they would lift it, but never did. On several occasions we got a lady on the phone who was very abrupt - almost rude. The skip was blocking my driveway - It was also v.windy and I was worried about the rubbish blowing away. My friend also had the same service or lack of it.

Staff awful attitude. I imagine if it goes well you will not have a problem. But if any issue arises I would rather deal with Ryanair customer services.Tried to charge me double after I filled the skip. Now I have to remove all the carpet from the skip and dump it myself. Jokers

Could not have had better service. With what was a very difficult time for my family with the passing of my father, we needed a skip to finish off work he had been clearing out. When I informed them of our situation they were fantastic. Had the skip out within the hour and collected the next day. A special mention and thanks to kirsty, Nathan and Hannah who could not have been more helpful.

Quiet possibly one of the rudest and most unprofessional companies I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I am not a customer, however they left /abandoned a skip in front of my garage blocking access and despite phoning them to politely request that it be removed was threaten with all sorts and told to I need to go and speak to the person who ordered the skip. FYI - It's your skip and you are the ones who left it there. I have had to involve the PSNI and Local Council.

Skip arrived within a couple of hours of ordering and was collected promptly. No problems here. However, the skip was positioned on our driveway and the driver cracked a manhole cover as he reversed up the driveway to collect the skip. You are required, of course, to sign that Batesy Skip Hire accept no responsibility of any damage done. I did want to let them know what had happened and was informed that the weight of the full skip caused the problem even though the damage was done by the empty lorry! The staff member couldn’t have cared less.
