This is part of Heartwood and even though the trees are newly planted you can see what a fantastic woodland park this will grow into. It has plenty of open spaces, wooden sculptures of creatures, benches and different types of paths and routes to suit all. I can't fault it though some mean unimaginative souls make negative comments such as lack of bins. Well here's novel concept, you brought it, you take it home, simples.

One of my favourite places to walk in the early morning as it can get quite busy. Some lovely views from the top of the hill.

Nice wood in the centre of heart wood, the new first being planted near at Albans. It has picnic tables in the centre, and meandering paths. In winter 2018 the trees are only 3 or 4 for high.

The proposed site of Disneyland Hertfordshire. Admittedly it's me that proposed it, hence the four stars, not five. Actually downgrading to three stars thanks to the appalling obsessive signage and ridiculous carvings everywhere that make this whole area look like a cheap theme park car park.
