Saddened by ResponseMy 90 year old Mum with dementia had her boiler serviced with Plum-it back in May 2023 (a customer for several years) at a total cost of £158 (mostly labour and VAT).In late October (5 months after the service) I receive an invoice for the work as they said they had forgotten to send it.Sadly my Mum passed away in July, so on explaining this to them I get an email back saying , 'having spoken with the owner of the company who advised that as the work was undertaken, the invoice stands'.None of this is about the money, it's only £158, it's all about the attitude of a local company to it's customers in difficult times, and in particular the words used and the manner in which they are used when dealing with delicate situations.
