Staybridge Suites London - Heathrow Bath Road, an IHG Hotel

4 of us stayed here in two separate rooms. The hotel was very clean and welcoming and all the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. We had dinner in the Hi! Pizza which is situated in the Holiday Inn next door to the Staybridge Suites, the food was good and reasonably priced. Parking costs £16 per night and is dealt with by reception. The rooms were large and clean, we asked for a two beds and it was already made up at the end of the main bed when we arrived. Breakfast had a great selection and all tasted good. All the staff at breakfast were happy and always on hand to clear your plate away. I would recommend the hotel for anyone needing a good hotel in the area.

Very nice hotel, conveniently located to Heathrow. Rooms were clean and spacious. We requested a rolling bed so we didn't have to share and it was delivered quickly. Bar/Restaurant next door at the Holiday Inn was a nice place to relax before our flight. Preeti at breakfast was very helpful and cheerful. 10/10 would recommend

Honestly, the 1 star reviews and their pettiness are astonishing, I'm so glad we ignored them and chose to stay overnight at the Staybridge. It was our first time here having tried most other Heathrow hotels and what a delight it was. Despite going off on a luxury holiday we found ourselves kind of wishing the hotel coming with us! It was a fabulous place to kick off the trip and is now the only place we will look to stay in the future in Heathrow. The room was spacious, silent, superbly equipped and clean. The facilities downstairs were again spacious, offered a variety of seating and workspace options and the breakfast perfect for our needs. The self-serve mini shop was also very handy. Honestly, try it if only once for yourself and see what you think, for the price we thought it absolutely superb. Also, the adjoining pizza restaurant (after a pre-booked pub let us down by being rammed) served one of the best stone baked pizzas I've ever had. This is a solid 5 star review worthy venue, we actually are looking forward to coming back.

TL / DR : Despite the good rooms and property, the lack of luggage services / basic amenities and location are major letdowns , very inconvenient if you are thinking of transiting to / from Heathrow / London or to nearby towns , especially with bagsThe rooms were good and the breakfast was better than expected, however , the low rating is due to the fact that this supposed “airport” hotel does not have bellhop service and expects guests to lug their own bags using the huge trolleys , of which only two are available and you have to track them down yourselves if they are not available up front. Some other reviewers have noted that the front desk staff are not as friendly or helpful as the kitchen / housekeeping and I noted this as well, especially when they failed to communicate with each other about my late checkout request (by 1 hour) and I had to pay a fee at checkout because they didn’t get a handover from the night staff despite me having informed them well in advance ( and no mention of late checkout fee was made at the time) . The location is neither close enough to Heathrow airport nor close enough to any town or bus / rail connections into London , the front office staff were kind enough to inform me that the nearest town was 45 minutes by bus, so if you don’t want to haul your bags onto a bus, be ready to spend significantly on taxis. There is also no complementary water and this combined with no luggage service as mentioned above makes this a bad choice for an “airport” hotel after a long flight or during a layover.

Good place to stay, clean, spacious rooms, decent pricing. They have social events during the week if you want to spend time in the lobby. Cris is one of the hosts who manages well customer expectations.
