Fired Earth

The Fired Earth store in Knutsford is beautiful and the staff are very helpful, but woe betide should you need to return anything.I bought some fabulous mosaics. Unfortunately, they are attached together by paper, so I would have needed to have bought mosaic boards and then paid my tiler for the vastly increased amount of time it would have taken him to fit them to the board, and then soak the paper off (neither the staff nor the website tell you that you have to do that to these tiles). This would have taken me well over my budget.I returned the tiles to the store on Friday 26th September and was told that my refund would take a couple of days. Seven working days later I am still waiting.......

We drove 45 mins to get to the store to find a sign saying 'entry by appointment only'. This is NOT what was advised on the website which stated that a limited number of customers would be allowed in and a short wait may be required. The members of staff in the building didn't acknowledge our existence at the door nor did they pick up the phone when we called. Please update your website and google with your policy!

Lucy in the Fired Earth store was really helpful in choosing what bathroom to go for. This included baths, tiles, taps; the whole lot!Goes to show that she knew her stuff and made the decision to buy from this store easy. Customer service was brilliant.
