B&Q Dearne Valley

It's a huge DIY store that caters to the building trade too , they also have a lovely garden centre, along with a sizeable kitchen and bathroom display which you can fit yourself or have them professionally fitted, there seems everything from lawnmowers to painting and decorating and just About anything related to DIY or home improvement.

Usually a good service here, however been in today and JOSHUA on the drill bits was so rude and unhelpful left me appalled. Not only was he unhelpful with myself, anither customero oldish gentleman needed assistant as he was disablled and JOSHUA again was rude and unhelpful. I did speak to the lady Lynne on checkout she said sheh would have a word can this be dealt with ?Many Thanks

Absolute disgrace making a 60 year old women wait over 30 days for a refund for a kitchen. Paid over £5000 in cash which they were more than happy to take off her with no mention of money laundering only to then under unforseen circumstances less than 48 hours after cancel the kitchen to be told by B&Q that they cannot give a cash refund back to her as this would be classed as money laundering. They said they would issue a cheque which more than 4 weeks later has not yet arrived through the post. She has spoken to numerous members of staff and customer services who are absolutely useless and basically dont have a clue where the cheque is or when we are due to receive it!!Absolute joke of a company and customer services !I will not be using this company again

Bought four light fitting and two pendant drops. The two girls who help were brilliant, helpful, cheerful and considerate, had a great laugh and a smile with them both. “I’ll be back”

I ordered a kitchen from this shop which I ended up going to the shop to cancel ( it wasn’t delivered) they said they were going to issue me a cheque through post because I paid with cash… the cheque will be received in 14 working days.I never received this cheque as they said so I called the shop and I got told to keep waiting for it to arrive (still nothing received)And then I received an email from them a few days later saying the cheque will take up to 28 days to get to me. Now there’s been a change.I have called and called but still nothing has been done and I haven’t received my money back.Save yourself a nightmare from buying from this shop because anything can happen where you would have to return your item for a refund. Issuing a refund shouldn’t be this hard and depressing.

I called at the paint department today with a quiry about some satinwood paint that I wasn't totally happy with, the staff were amazing and very knowledgeable about their products they couldn't have been more helpful especially the supervisor. Thank you for your help today.

Great shop with great people, especially one of the workers there, Joshua, helped my get everything I needed with a few insights and tips of his own, wish more workers in retail were like this gentleman

I can honestly say that both Nadia and Paige were really very helpful and polite and new what they were doing they deserve a bonus handling undecided people like me thanks I'll be using BnQ in the future
