Good range of eating venues. However these services are always let down by the toilet facilities, the smell reaches you 10 yards before you reach them, there are always several toilets out of order and the genre cleanliness is of a very low standard. I say this as a regular traveller on the M1.

More expensive than a normally expensive service station, as crowded as expected. Pretty tight parking spaces but a good choice of food drink and travel essentials

EV charging needs reworking. Too few and not possible to use all fully together without illegally"? parking behind in 'services road' - which I wasn't going to do. Better than Donington as of my last visit though.Exit via fuel station is not helpfully signed; I understand the trick to encourage driving past the pumps but no use to EVs is it?"

Sandwich and a cup of tea from Greggs £4 amazing value for money. 2 charge points for cars. But the whole place feels a bit tired and ready for a bit of a face-lift.

It's a service station on the M1. It can be distinguished from the others by being a bit smaller and not having a bridge. There is a BK, Greggs and a Costa. My son says the toilets smell.

Only stopped for the toilet on this visit. Toilets far from good. Only half the sit down cubicles available in the mens and the cubicle was in a disgusting state. The atte don't was present, but didn't seem to be doing an awful lot. Toilets generally smelt bad and you detect that smell in the concourse before you even enter the Toilets themselves. As they are adjacent to the shop, it puts me off using the shop too. Forty years ago, Trowell services used to be excellent. They had clean loos, a simple upstairs coffee shop that served simple coffee and cake and a space invaders machine. Service stations diversify too much these days, with multiple concessions. Bring back the old days. All you require is a clean loo, a drink and bite to eat and half an hour break from the road. It's a simple recipe. Why all the complication and neglect of the bare essentials. If I could avoid these places totally I would, but need a loo on a long drive. Motorway services, you need to do so much better. Much, much, much better than this. I say avoid if you can.

Great service station. Like many others kept clean and well maintained. Has sufficient shops and clean hygenic restrooms.The best it has a multi faith room on the North Bound section (just cross over using the bridge and you can pray without any problems)..

What a dump. Filthy toilets most of them not working, as usual truck park area needing a good tidy up, overgrown bushes, damaged roadway. Sort it out Moto.

Services itself is about what you'd expect from a motorway services. Grubby and falling apart but at least it's got a toilet.However avoid the Burger King like a plague. 30 minutes to get our food and even then it was wrong. I would have had sympathy for the single woman working behind the counter had she appeared to give any kind of a damn about what she was doing. She was just kind of wandering around, picking things up and putting them in bags before getting them back out of the bag again. That and she had her hair loose and was constantly playing with it whilst handling the food.If you can hold your bladder you're much better off holding on for Tibshelf.
