SSCN Healthcare

My Dad has been receiving care from SSCN for over a year now. I'd agree with the previous reviews to some extent, because this company was struggling to provide a satisfactory service. However, since around February 2020 significant improvements have been made and i am happy to say the level of service is great now. The carers have always been fantastic, but the communication and organistaion between staff, clients and families let things down drastically. This is no longer an issue and i feel my dad is in very safe hands.I would say though, that you do have to work with the company to keep things going. Things dont always run smoothly, as with anything in life. But as long you keep a good line of communication with both the carers and the SSCN office staff, everything should be fine.

I cannot even express how unacceptable this companys care programme is...I truly believe most of the staff have not been fully trained and have communication skills eg..do not understand English.to an acceptable standard..and are totally incompotent of even carrying out the smallest task...no compassion or common sense whatsoever...all about £££ should not even be on care list...Shocking....

I have no personal experience with this company, however I have noticed they go to someone in my local area and the reason they caught my attention is I have notice how quick they are in and out ... so for a few weeks I have timed the time they take to leave there car to the person's house and back to the car , I could not believe the quickest time was 4 minutes!!! (Seriously) now as a carer for 3 years I can not imagine being able to say hi and ask how they are within 5 minutes!! Even if the client didn't require any personal care or need anything... surely they can spend a little longer asking how they actually are! Might I add they all seem to be dressed in non uniform!! ... Now let's speak about the cars they are provided to use to get to a to b ... I'm not sure they are fit for purpose!

As a family, seeking the best care for our parents was crucial. After a lot of comms and research, the care provided by the staff and management team at SSCN was second to none. 2020 saw a significant reshuffle within SSCN and that proactive approach led to a level of care, respect, compassion and understanding being deployed to our parents day and night. We moved from day visits to day visits with overnight stays. As both our parents health gradually and simultaneously declined, the care staff and management team at SSCN became part of the family - then and now. We are grateful to all at SSCN for listening, addressing issues and proactively responding to challenges in 2019 that has resulted in SSCN genuinely warranting a 5 start review in December 2020.
