Old Hall Hotel

Great place that was close to the venue for a family wedding.Food and service in the restaurant were fantastic.Lack of any reception staff overnight was a slight issue given we had people from another wedding party running up and down the corridors late at night, and early in the morning - something I think a staff member may well have had something to say about if there.All in all, nice hotel, clean rooms, great facilities and easy enough location to find.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in the Old Hall and won’t be the last. I’m leaving this review before I’ve checked out as the service was so good. From booking direct with the hotel, to the staff offering to hold our baby while we ate breakfast. So friendly and only 3 minutes from a quite part of the coast. It’s 10 mins from the main sea front at Great Yarmouth. Lastly the food is out of this world, have the lasagna!

Great little hotel although at first I was worried about the size & location especially being right next to a Lidl. It’s smaller then the bigger hotels were used to staying in but we had a great time and lots of positive things to say. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Rooms were clean and basic but tick all the boxes of what you need in a room. Breakfast was delicious the Norfolk Brekkie was a winner. Spa was AMAZING. Steam & sauna were on all day long and a good temperature and the gym was well kitted and clean. The pool and hot tub was open all day and lovely to use. We had treatments with imagine spa and it was really nice and a great price. We got a saving as we stayed at the hotel. There is a restaurant and pub joined to hotel which seems popular with the locals. Location wise you are close to a beach although you’d have to drive a bit further to get to the main beach at Great Yarmouth. Very quiet at this time of year but we enjoyed that. Would definitely come again.

I stayed here last week as working near here what a fantastic place friendly and helpful staff .Nothing was to much trouble amazing food beautiful clean room bed was so comfy .I used the swimming pool and steam and sauna room it was just fabulous after a hard day at work .I didn't want to go home would definately stay here again

Great weekend away using the restaurant and spa facilities. Food was plentiful and extremely tasty. Breakfast also exceptional. Spa , pool and gym were a good size, clean, inviting, not too busy. Massage an added delight. Room was good size and clean with comfy bed. Bathroom good size but just needed a bit of tlc.Great place to stay.

My Daughter booked the hotel for our visit to see the seals at Horsey gap as we were coming from South Yorkshire. I was very impressed with the facilties we needed the sauna and jacuzzi after our very cold and windswept afternoon.I have been having issues with my mobility and my room was in an accesable room . It was just what I needed the walk in shower and the space. It was next to the lift on the floor as well. The food was wonderful for our evening meal and the breakfast. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly .A nice little touch for ladies travelling alone there was a door stop to use against the door.

Lovely clean hotel. Rooms also very clean and comfortable. Restaurant very nice with friendly staff, excellent food, plenty of choices and reasonably priced.

We had booked 2 rooms, one for me and my partner and one for my mum. Unfortunately a few days before our planned trip my mum had a fall and had very reduced mobility. We were allocated the disabled room and a standard double. The disabled room was fantastic, so much space and the assistance rails and wet room rather than Bath made it all so much easier for my mum to be able to enjoy her stay.I was initially worried when we checked in as I can be very sensitive to noise and we were told of a music starting outside around 7 pm until 11 ish. We could hear it from our rooms but it was so low level that it didn't affect our sleep at all.The food in the restaurant was lovely and definitely recommend booking a table in the restaurant as the other option was sitting in the bar and we found it to be much noisier and seating was first come basis and the bar was very full by 6 o clock.We used the pool and sauna area and this was a lovely way to finish our relaxing day.If we visit the area again we will definitely be rebooking here. Absolutely loved it. ❤️

Friendly and professional attention from all staff at all times. Excellent choice of quality food and drink. Had dinner in the restaurant on the first day and as it was so enjoyable we chose to eat in every evening.Very clean room with a big bed, super soft bed linen, wet room and aircon.Great breakfast included. Freshly cooked and delicious.Large outside patio area and easy parking.Outstanding.
