Rhos Fynach Tavern
Was passing by and saw that they were serving food. Both had fish, chips and mushy peas. Good portion size and I perhaps should of gone for the light bite version. Delicious food, piping hot and would recommend.

Service was slow we were a group of 20? with different menus not as good as last Xmas & had to query when paying as tried to overcharge me but was rectified. Lamb was fatty. Staff were pleasant Place was fine with Xmas decor.

We had a lovely meal whilst on holiday here. 8 adults and 2 children were in our party and received great service which was fast and friendly. The meals were incredibly reasonably priced for their exceptional quality and I was pleased to see how much choice there was, particularly for vegans. The pub is really tidy and the outdoor area was lovely and all of the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Dog friendly in all areas inside and out, great food and service.The pub itself is steeped in history and is beautiful inside.We had light bite lunch, which was lovely and a good price.We will be back if in this area again for holidays.

We went on a Sunday and there was live music. The service was quick with a good selection of beers. Very dog friendly with loads of seating outside.

I was a little disappointed when visiting today. The staff were welcoming and friendly however the food let it down. The prawn cocktail was bland and watery with basic lettuce, however the bread was lovely. I also had southern fried chicken strips on warm ciabatta with fries. Again, basic lettuce with only 2 small chicken strips which I think were frozen, as well as the fries (apologies if I'm wrong). The children only wanted chicken strips and chips, which they charged us more just to leave out the bread and coleslaw. We were full after our meals but it's not a place I would plan to revisit. Compared to the same dishes at other places I have been to, unfortunately they don't come close.

What a wonderful pub. We were made to feel really welcome, and the interior was lovely and cosy. I had the mushroom and pea risotto which was really tasty, and it was good to see a selection of vegan dishes on the menu (especially when other places in the area don't seem to cater for vegans at all).

Came in with my Partner yesterday and asked if they were still serving food (around 6pm.) Thankfully, they were but just for the next 10 minutes. Lots more people came after us for food but were not turned away.We ordered quickly. The food did take a little while to come but it was busy even early evening and it was worth the wait. Hearty portions on a cold night which was just what we wanted. I had the lamb shank and he had the peri peri chicken which was excellent. I would have that next time.A special mention must go to the young lady behind the bar who was very friendly and gave every dog that came in a treat and bowl of water. The building has a wonderful atmosphere, full with locals and visitors plus, most importantly, clean toilets. Could not ask for more. Thank you, we will definitely come again.

Lovely staff, very attentive and the other diners were friendly too.Enjoyed the vegetarian burger, but was expecting a thicker one. The fish & chips were enjoyed too.It says super dog friendly and it is, plenty of dogs in there too.
