Kwik Fit - Truro

Fantastic service at Truro Kwik Fit, fast and efficient.Josh was friendly and got us back on the road with a new tyre after an unfortunate start to our holiday.Can't fault the service here!!

Great service and good prices tyres. Honestly feel sorry for the poor manager James in there running around that fitted my tyre as well as answering the phone, dealing with other customers cars all pretty much single handed as the other young boy in there didn't seem Interested at all. We were in the room with 3 other customers waiting and could see how much pressure the poor guy was under. We didn't mind waiting but if you were in a hurry it's not exactly a quick fit! Definitely more staff needed.

Excellent service. Called in in the morning and booked for 2.00. Turned up and the job was done quickly and efficiently. Thanks.

Took over 2 hours to change a couple of tyres, when arrived early in the day.Also feel conned.Just had a major service with main dealership, but then your branch says I needed wheel alignment at a cost of £65. My wife felt like we needed to do this due to a couple of long journeys coming up, and I couldn't remember if the service checked this. Got home and checked and it was done less than a week earlier in the service.So feel conned out of the money and will tell everyone that in my opinion Kwik fit is not a good place to go

I was told to collect my car at 2pm earliest and I went at 2.15pm expecting it to be ready but I still had to wait.The car was ready but the service I received from the person behind the desk was unacceptable.When I arrived there was another customer talking to the person at the desk so I waited patiently behind him until he sat down. i wasn't even acknowledged.I was completely ignored by your staff member for at least 5 mins while I stood there in front of his desk while he was typing away at his computer, until I said excuse me is my car ready? He asked me which car was mine and told another member of staff to go take the milage and photos of my car, so when I asked again if it was going to take long as I needed to collect my kids from school, he said 5mins.Clearly the paperwork wasn't even done because he printed them out after the other person gave him the readings and by now it was almost 25m after the time it was meant to be ready.In the meantime a sales person came in, barged infront of me and started talking about some parts she had delivered, and he decided to have a chat about the items she had brought in, still leaving me waiting, no apologies for keeping me or maybe even just saying sorry I will be with you in a minute.He then handed me the papers and my keys and that was it. I asked if it was ok and passed my Mot, he just said yes, no explanation or anything on the advisories.Needless to say I will be taking my car elsewhere next year as this was disgusting customer service, all he needed to do was apologise for keeping me waiting, even after I told him I am going to be late collecting my kids he made no effort to speed up things. It costs nothing to use manners and for this reason I am rating 2 stars

Very good service from James and the team. I had an engine check light appear so wanted to know the error code, James fitted me in same day. Saved £££ compared to the dealer estimate. Thank you!!!

I’d been told to check my car in first thing so was under the impression this was so that it could be seen to earlier on. Called up at 3.45 to ask if it’s ready because it was minus degrees and getting dark and I explained I had to walk up with my baby and didn’t want it to be too cold and dark if it was later. They said it wasn’t ready I said ok and the guy (James/Jamie) said he’ll call me as soon as it was ready to collect. Just before 5 it still wasn’t ready and I know they close at 6 so I thought I’ll walk up now as it takes me nearly 30 mins to walk there and got there at 5.10. Two people in the waiting room so I waited for the lady in front to be seen to. Then James took a call straight afterwards so I waited for the call to end. Went up to him and said is it ok to wait here until the cars ready. He was really short and rude to me and said my cars ready but I’ve got 2 other people wanting to check their cars out right now so let me deal with them. This was not in a polite manner and made me feel rude for simply letting him know my name and what car I was here for and if I could wait in the customer area. Long story short at just gone 6 I was only just leaving with my car after multiple other customers walked in and were seen to before me even though my car was ready and I was waiting patiently with my 1 year old boy who luckily was well behaved but was getting really tired and trying to sleep on the floor. It was not a welcoming experience and I felt like I was a nuisance for turning up before the shop closed even though by chance my car was already finished and I simply needed to make a payment for it.

Great guys and team. Cannot fault them at all and very appreciative of all the work they did on my car and getting it all sorted for me and as soon as possible too! Such great customer service. Definitely will be going back to the guys there if I have any problems in future!

I landed in Truro from York with a blown exhaust at The start of a Bank Holiday.The manager thoroughly inspected my van and tried tirelessly to get me the exhaust i needed near to closing time on Friday.Although this wasn't possible he then recommended a reputable garage where I got my exhaust fixed.I've always been a bit wary of chain garages, but the manager went beyond the call if duty to help me.I can't recommend his service enough.

Customer service was very poor. Work wasn't done in the order I requested which meant I got a failed MOT on my vehicles history, I was left waiting for almost 4.5 hours without any explanation on what was going on. Couldn't get any response when phoning during the wait. When expressed my unhappiness at the order of the work being carried out I was ignored. Haven't felt listened to by the customer care team.
