Woodlands Restaurant
We visited the restaurant on a warm September evening. It was lovely sitting on the terrace for some drinks before the meal. The food was first class and the service was attentive without being imposing. We then had an hour on the terrace after the meal to enjoy the rest of the evening. It was a really enjoyable night and we have plans to return again with a slightly larger group. Definitely a venue that needs to be visited.

Another beautiful Sunday lunch at The Woodlands Restaurant.Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.Also Natalie front of house,keeping everything in order.Waiting on staff all pleasant and efficient.Wonderful meal in a beautiful landscape.

Birthday meal for 10 people. The vegetables were roasted and served in one bowl with oil in, 2 bowls between 10 people. We asked for extra potatoes, as the 2 bowls was not enough. We expected to have some steamed vegetables but there was none. It was a bit oily. The meat was nice and the fish, the vegetarian meal was a bit sickly. Staff nice and helpful. Lovely restaurant, decor lovely.
