Warrens Hall Farm Pond

Beautiful place to visit clean and safe nice people who pop by.

Nice pond with regular fishermen during the spring and summer months. The pond is home to numerous wildlife including ducks, herons, frogs and of course fish. The nearby field has horses which belong to the riding school. There can be litter left during busy periods which is why it’s not 5 stars.

Used to be a fishermans haven, unfortunately and having seen it with my own eyes, a certain population have decided to take most, if not all of the decent fish out, to eat for their dinners. :(

The area's around the pool are rather overgrown and in need of some bankside maintenence and tree-work. If the island tree's continue to spread as they have done (unsupervised over the last few years) then they could soon choke the fishing on that side and touch the bank where most of the metal fishing platforms are located. The single uneven bank-path levels leading to these swims are very muddy and somewhat treacherous whilst carrying fishing tackle to the swims with the danger of falling into the reeds/water and no way of getting out easily as I did twice recently ... especially after the rainfall we have experienced of late.
