It is clear that the University are requesting that Google removes honest reviews and is censoring reviews from disabled people that report how terrible there experiences have been in order to mislead the public.I identify and agree with the reviews written by Google reviewer ‘Kirsty’ a disabled student who had a horrific experience after enrolling. Her reviews highlights how they treat disabled people. From my own experience of the admissions-James that essentially told me that my application to the bar would not be accepted due to my background. Personally I would not recommend applying to an organization like this at all.Lastly I have shared my experience with my previous university and disability news, so that they can also be aware of the standards of this provider. The principles of the University of Law namely there admin staff are very ignorant and this is a disgrace to the legal profession that is meant to welcome diversity and accessibility.

I performed well at the university but I feel as though the administration of the university is very poor.--The Masters BPTC top up was very poorly run and the only reason I did well is because of my own hard work. There was no direction and the professor was uncontactable for 2 months of the year.--For one exam, I hadn't been set up so just before I was due to start my exam I was told I hadn't been enrolled. When I called for admin support they told me you'll have to do it next year" despite the BPTC no longer existing any more.I had to make a big fuss just to get enrolled and take the exam which obviously was incredibly stressful just before a bar exam.--They sent my degree certificates to an address that wasn't mine and charged me to send replacements to my actual address.--I would avoid if at all possible."

Probably the worst university in the whole UK. I paid my prepayment fee £3000 2 weeks ago via bank transfer but my application portal still says fee not received yet. I have emailed the finance team twice in the last week and they haven’t replied once yet. I’ll also be complaining about Ulaw wherever I can to help other students not choose this university.

My friend has had such a mentally draining experience with the visa compliance team. She has paid her full tuiton fees alongside a complete application for a CAS since late June. The team has failed to process any of the documents and continuously send irrelevant emails that do not relate to the documents she has attached to her form. Countless number of calls, emails and chasing up have led to nothing except a ‘wait for an email’ (which never arrives). Instead of guidance, she has now received communications that she’s missed the deadline for her CAS and needs to defer or transfer her studies. How is it acceptable for any educational institution to treat their onboarding students like this!

Don’t apply for this university, they don’t even refund tour fees on time. Waiting time was for 14 days but I have almost waited for more than 25 days still there is no progress. Save your money and most importantly time by applying at better place.

The worst university when it comes to anything administrative. They have zero help for students, they are disorganized and there is so much lack of support. Go anywhere else, so not worth it

I completed my Bar Professional Course at University of Law's Bloomsbury Campus, and it was a mixed journey. On the positive side, the central location was convenient, and the classrooms were comfortable and well-maintained. The faculty, especially Stephen Daniel, Rachel, and Tariq, were knowledgeable and always ready to help.Tariq's guidance helped me in conference exam and I scored an outstanding, which was a standout moment. Another positive was Stephen Illingworth's support, as I commuted weekly from Switzerland due to family commitments. His support was crucial in keeping me going. A big shout to assessment team's superstar, David Bostock for being incredibly helpful. However, there were challenges. The procedural defects affected exam outcomes twice, which was disappointing and wasted six months of my course. I did appreciate the university's responsiveness to my appeals which I won. So, if you are a student having grievance, my advice would be follow the procedure and appeal. The University has a genuinely fair process. The biggest concern was encountering a tutor who exhibited biased behaviour. He did not answer emails regularly and asked me to not aspire to get an outstanding grade. Despite raising concerns I was assured he would be fair in marking but the tutor's lateness, his unpreparedness during the exam by not reading my skeleton argument thoroughly before resulted in a biased low grade. Fortunately, I won an appeal by a procedural defect appeal and change of tutor for the same exam led to a much better grade. While the campus has its positives, there are areas that need improvement. The lack of insulated windows affects exam focus because noise of external works disturbs during advocacy exams. Restroom facilities are limited, and the absence of water cups is inconvenient. In conclusion, University of Law's Bloomsbury Campus offers a good learning environment with dedicated faculty. If you are thinking of studying here, go for it. I recommend them 100%.

Ridiculously bad customer service and administration from this institution. They gave me an unconditional offer and I met all requirements for a CAS, then they asked me to pay £3,000 in order to request the CAS. A few weeks later they tell me that they are at capacity for issuing CAS numbers and that they will not proceed with my application. I understand that they have a capacity for the CAS number but then they shouldn’t have given me an unconditional offer as an international student who informed them I needed a student visa. Then they made me pay a huge amount of money when they knew I wouldn’t get a CAS? I had already moved to London when they gave me an unconditional offer. They didn’t reply to emails or phone calls, just sent me a pre-made email without any regard for my situation, letting me know that they wouldn’t proceed with my application, but that I was “welcome” to defer my offer to next year. No personal contact. Just terrible administration and no communication between departments. If you need a student route visa I would not recommend this uni.

Computers so bad I regret NOT staying at LONDON METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY!!!This review was not written on. a Ulaw bloomsbury library computer as none of them work. If you do not have a laptop and want to revise, go to Sainsbury's and get a potato, it will be more responsive. This year the UK was only the second biggest electronic waste contributor after Norway, Ulaw should act now to boost our ranking by sending every last computer to the scrap.I even tried logging into my old universities google docs thinking it might work better than outlook and the computer said it could not run it on its browser! If you are on a tour do not fall into the trap of thinking it is good that the library is always empty.
