Chigboro’ Fisheries

Nice campsite surrounded by lakes. Play area for the kids is a good bonus. We arrived on bank holiday weekend, no one was there so we had to sort things out ourselves. Booked a firebowl and logs and had to scavenge it - will be writing an email to them regarding this. It was overpriced and more like a rusty BBQ IMO, would have brought my own. Showers are in with the toilets, so if the showers are all occupied you can't use the toilet, which is problematic. There is a ping pong table in a little games room which was nice for when the weather wasn't so brilliant.

Lake is very big, with loads of swims to fish from, also very picturesque (even though it was pouring with rain)On site shop was a very welcome addition, with decent hot food and coffee for the freezing day (and lovely staff)Only managed a single 21lb mirror on the day, but will definitely be back. Really great lake.

This was a present for my husband to go fly fishing with tuition. The lakes are very nice and it made a good day out as there is also a lot of areas to walk around and a nature reserve next to the lakes.

Why is it so hard to book now on this lake when u try book it on the website u can add it to basket why change it now its hard

Decent lake , lovely bailiff full of advice, would recommend to any angler there is something for everyone.I fished 48hrs with a friend had about 15 fish between us some lovely carp In there.Some advice I was told is don't discount the back of the lake it is abit weedy in places but we see carp and got in the swim and it paid off.See photo of the 25lb I caught was over the moon.

Huge, gorgeous looking lake with fantastic staff. Unfortunately they are plagued by weed making a third of the lake difficult to fish. Was hard going session for me, 5 days not one bite from the Catfish sadly but would like to try again.

What a fab place to visit.Since the new system has been out in place where u book on line now it's much more organised and the fisherman seem alot more friendly to.To top if off now there is a portable toilet so happy days for us ladies that like to fish to.Definitely worth a visit even if you just want to walk around these beautiful lakes.
