The Royal Windsor
Many thanks to Sunny and his team for this lovely evening. We were stranded late in Windsor due to flight irregularities at Heathrow and were incredibly happy to get something tasty to eat here. They opened the kitchen especially for us for fish and chips. Really super super nice.A really nice place to stay, beautiful old pub at the foot of the castle and, as I said, a great team. Cheers mate!!!

The staff were able to seat our party of 16 indoors and they also helped us/let us put tables and chairs together. It was also so easy that all we had to do was order food and drinks at the bar and not worry about paying separately. The bartenders and associates were kind, friendly, and helpful. Food was tasty and overall a very cozy atmosphere! Thank you The Royal Windsor!

I am a pub food lover and this pub still has room for improvement in the kitchen.The Lamb Shanks was ok but the mash was served in small portion.The size of the BBQ jackfruit pizza was “bloody” tiny and they charged me £17.50. The side dish “chips” also came in a small portion with the price £4.50.I complained to the manager and he rearranged another pizza and chips for us. I appreciated what he did.Overall, the price was a bit expensive - more expensive than Central London.I hope the owner will read this comment and find a way out to improve the business model.

This is an excellent pub - we really enjoyed our meal here :) .The food was amazing, being very tasty and filling. There was a good amount of variety available, and dietry requirements are very easily adapted to. The reason why this section isn't a 5" is due to a lack of ingredients (ie: no vegan ice cream

Sunny greeted us with a big smile, which set the scene for a lovely relaxing lunch. We are light eaters, so shared the steak sandwich (which comes with fries on the side) plus a hog sausage roll"

We walked by this restaurant on our way to the Windsor tour and knew we wanted to come back for dinner! We did and had a great time. The atmosphere is amazing, just below the castle away from the busier streets. The food was good the atmosphere and ambiance were amazing, we enjoyed our time!

A great place to stop during your visit to Windsor. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the outdoor seating was enjoyable on a warm day. The Sunday menu is quite limited (no chicken roast or fish) but the beef roast overall was a nice dish. The carrots and potatoes needed a bit more time cooking but the beef was tender and flavourful.
