Little Turtle Swim Company

Zara and the little turtle swim company team are absolutely amazing. My boys have been swimming with her since they were only a few weeks old and I can highly rate their approach to teaching. My boys love being in the water and this is all thanks to Zara.

Our little one has the absolute best time in her swimming sessions with Little Turtle. She’s been going since she was 3 months old and the classes have massively helped her water confidence. The classes are fun, challenging and genuinely support her development. Would highly recommend them!

We have been swimming with Little Turtles at several of their venues for years now and cannot recommend them enough. If you are looking for lessons for your little ones, Zara and her team are fab!

My children both swam with turtles from babies until leaving as confident, happy swimmers ready for bigger pools. The fab teachers have helped both through different stages, tailoring things to them, encouraging them and I’ve learnt lots along the way too. I recommended them to lots of people and wanted to put it here for others - if you want a child led, fun and effective swim school you’ve found the right place!

We have swum with little turtles for 6 years now, 3 children all starting at 4 months old! My children all have the most amazing confidence in the water and have a very good understanding of water safety. At times I had 3 children swimming back to back in lessons and had a lot of help and support poolside and in the pool as sometimes needed with my twins. Our swim journey is coming to an end now as my twins start school, an end of an era and I’ll be very sad to say goodbye! I highly recommend little turtles and the team

Absolutely gutted to finish our Little Turtles swim journey after 11.5 yrs.I can't thank Zara and the team enough for helping my kids grow in confidence and learn to swim so strongly. The fun in the lessons and consideration of their development as an individual is second to none. Ot goes way above and beyond normal swimming lessons. Every teacher we have had has been amazing with them.Thank you from the bottom of hearts for such wonderful, enriching classes that have taught them such an important life skill. The best swim school ever! Can't recommend enough. We'll miss you all.

My daughter has been attending swimming classes with Little Turtles since she was 10 months old. We moved from classes elsewhere because it didn’t feel like we were getting much from the classes and I was really uncomfortable with the dunking encouraged at each lesson. Little Turtles sessions are great fun, there is a theme each week and no forced submersions. My daughter very quickly started going under the water because she wanted to and on the days she didn’t fancy it, there was no pressure at all. Learning through play is at the heart of these classes and it’s great quality time for parents with their children. Highly recommend these classes.

My daughter experienced Little Turtle swimming lessons, from April 2021, as soon as the word reopen post covid until recently. Those early swimming lessons with babies are the best feeling in the world. Being in the pool with her weekly has been such an incredible highlight of my motherhood journey. I was surprisingly devastated when our work/nursery schedule changed and we couldn’t attend any longer. Zara and the team go above and beyond, each lesson is thought out so well, and planning meticulously, it’s absolutely worth every single penny. We hope to return in the future.

I have been taking my son to Little Turtles since he was three months old. We have had, and continue to have, loads of fun in the pool with the team. Their expertise and knowledge has supported my little boy to become confident, happy and independent in the pool. As a parent, I love the knowledge and reasoning the team share with us about why they are encouraging the children to take part in the different activities and how best to support this. It is with this knowledge that has enabled me, as a parent, to confidently take my little boy swimming on my own. Not only does the team support the children's ability to become confident swimmers, they also support the parents to become confident educators when taking their little one swimming out of the regular sessions.I absolutely LOVE the way that each class is fun, engaging and each activity has a purposeful meaning to each individual child in order for them to reach their own achievements. It is extremely rare to come across a class that can offer and support each child's learning and development ability, therefore, making each session fully inclusive to all the children and parents/carers. Little Turtles supports, encourages and praises each child to learn and develop in swimming, at their own pace! The team bring such a happy and cheerful atmosphere to each class making it easier for the children to relax, learn and have fun in the pool every single week! The team are very friendly and know the children very well, enabling them to support each child the best that they can!I cannot thank Zara, Lorna, Claire and the whole team for the support, encouragement and continuing knowledge that they provide every week to the classes! It is with you guys that my son has developed a HUGE amount of confidence and love for the water! It was only a few months ago he wouldn't even entertain using a woggle or jumping in but it is with your expertise and support that he is happy and confident to do so!
