Nortech Garage Doors

From the moment we visited the Nortech showroom to the completion of the installation of our new garage doors we received absolutely terrific friendly, polite and professional customer service. It really was a pleasure to deal with all of the team of employees and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. As for the garage doors we love them, they look great and are so simple to operate.

I have now had 3 electric up & over garage doors from Nortech, which speaks for itself ! I have always found them friendly & business like, both in the office & also when they have come out to measure up & fit the doors. The first door I had fitted is now nearly 4 years old & I have had no problems at all with it. Very pleased both with the service & the products. Thank you !

Excellent service from Nortech from start to finish. We visited the showroom in Cramlington and quickly found the door we liked. An appointment was made to view our current set up, a quote given. There was no pressure during this process which I loved.After a short period we were given a date for fitting, I rang the day before and was given an approximate time slot. The fitters arrived and quietly got on with the job. The old door and frame was removed the new roller door fitted. It looks smart, it slides up and down easily, opening and locking is simple, the new frame is a big improvement on the old one and the fitters left everywhere clean and tidy after they had finished.All in all, very happy and would recommend Nortech to anyone looking for a new garage door.

From walking into the showroom in Cramlington to accepting the newly fitted garage door, I have been well impressed with the staff and business.The showroom staff (Helen) answered all our questions with her experience, professionalism and knowledge about each door design and operation.The phone calls and emails were answered promptly and with no fuss.The installation of the double garage door was undertaken by two lads (Matt and Richy) working expertly and with good humour. The job was completed, removing all waste materials and cleaning up after themselves. Instruction was given in the safe operation of the doors and the general upkeep.Overall we have been very pleased with the quality of the door and the whole experience and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who asks. Our garage door broke last night so we contacted Nortech. They attended the next day (on time) and fixed our garage door. Very happy with the service provided, i will not hesitate to use them again in the future. Thanks again nortech!

Very pleased with installation of garage door 5 years ago but appalled at recent inadequate after-sales service.How can one be expected to wait 'several weeks' for an engineer to call to investigate a non-functioning door? I was advised to use the manual operating rod but this is a slow, arduous process, designed for emergency use, not for routine use for several weeks.When I approached the control unit manufacturer Somfy for technical advice, they were equally useless.With the help of another door company, I was able to diagnose the problem, source and fit alternative parts within a day, so I won't be troubling Nortech or Somfy again.

I had my garage door installed by Nortech and have had many years of trouble free use from it. This year it became very intermittent when opening and closing. Naturally I called out Nortech as they installed it. They charged £80 for the call out which I thought was a bit steep but hey. The technician motored the door once and that was all, no further fault diagnosis. He said the motor was broken and that it would be £500 to replace and if I took the managers special (always makes me suspicious) I could have a new motor and control box for £800. Of course I declined. I got a free second opinion and of course it wasn't the motor but the safety sensor on the bottom of the door and cost less than the call out fee charged by Nortech. I would beware of this company that I use to think was reputable but it seems they are not and I would not recommend them to any of my friends.

Can’t fault anything. From the day we entered the showroom to getting the door fitted everything was excellent, great communication from the sales team. The team who came to fit the door are an asset to the company, Matt is just fantastic at his job and takes real pride in his work, very professional, no mess at all. He is an asset to your company.

We are delighted with both garage doors we have recently had fitted by Nortech.The staff in the showroom were extremely helpful when choosing the doors and explaining the fitting process and timescales.The fitters were excellent, did a 1st class job and were only too happy to take the time to answer any questions or queries.The doors look amazing and we couldn't be happier.In addition the staff in the office at Cramlington have been both helpful and efficient at all times.A great company to deal with and one we would highly recommended.
