Lemans Gym

Hands down the best gym I've ever been a member of! I joined after reconstructive surgery to my ankle as I wasnt sure how to keep fit and strong whilst recovering. I had a personal training membership for 2 months(before moving to a normal membership) and the support I had through that was amazing! Scott put so much thought into what exercises I could do whilst still wearing a boot and how to work with the injury that I returned to the rugby pitch just 3 months after surgery.Scott invests in the gym with new equipment every month, as well as adding a mezzanine level and refurbishing the toilets and changing areas as well.24 hours access is a godsend too and even if you go in busy times, it's a friendly gym and just a nice place to be. I can't wait to go back after lockdown!

Best gym in halstead, no Bitchyness, no drama, no judgement, just a gym full of lovely likeminded people looking to better themselves, Scott is always buying new equipment, new attachments and making constant improvements upon request in the gym to keep us members happy and all staff are always helpful and positive working with a smile on their faces, the added convenience of being open 24/7 is just the added cherry on top, if you’re looking to feel comfortable and guarantee progress lemans is the place to be.

First time going was Monday 26th june, first impression was how clean it is and how much equipment they have to offer very happy I made the decision to join looking forward to the next session

Really enjoy going. I do my little workout that keeps me fit. Got some health problems just now but slowly getting back to some normality.

Love this gym, Scott and Alex have done a great job at keeping the gym up to date with new kit and always reinvesting for all the members. You have no excuse not to train when they have made it 24/7 access and are always buying new machines. The music is always booming and the staff are extremely friendly!

Joined online before seeing the gym in person as the reviews are great. They were giving away free drinks to anyone who did a review, so perhaps that’s why they’re all 5 stars, as my experience was a bit different. The roof leaks, so after it rains there’s wet patches on the floor and a musty smell, as well as a mould problem. There is a good range of equipment, but it can be impossible to get a bench or popular machine at busy times. I joined with a cancel anytime membership. I asked a staff member on one of my first visits how much notice I needed to give to cancel as we were only staying in town for a few months. I was told a couple of days. Turns out it’s 30 days, which resulted in me paying for an extra month I didn’t use (I know I should’ve read the contract more closely, but staff also shouldn’t give out incorrect information if they’re unsure).

I joined this gym in September and I go about 4 - 5 times a week. Having a 24 hour gym in Halstead is great, the last time I had a gym like this was when I lived in London and having this on my doorstep is just amazing. The Gym is also well equipped even on those busy days I can still do my work out using different equipment. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Thanks again for a top notch gym :)
