Traditional English pub. Roaring fires. Fine cask ales. Doesn't do food but the quality of the beer makes up for it.

Was a regular at the Ings several years ago. Checked online to revisit, after a long period away. Online opening time 13.00, sign outside pub when we arrived, 14.00!!!Went elsewhere. Why no update and why would a pub open at 14.00?Won't try again!!!

Just popped in for a quick drink hoping to meet a couple of friends. The pub was spotlessly clean. There was waitress service. The beer was good and they stocked alcohol free lager.
