Ikea should be absolutely ashamed of themselves to use this company as part of their refund procedure. We had a faulty mattress from Ikea, which they refused to refund (even though we had it for less than a year and it should be guaranteed). Ikea make it really hard for you to get any sort of a refund and eventually point you in the direction of CDRL.....who are the pits!! Honestly, I really do believe that Ikea use them deliberately knowing that they will NEVER answer their phones (which are only open 2 days a week for a few hours!!!). Ikea / CDRL ask you to download photos, email chains, evidence etc etc etc etc etc etc......then never do anything with it!!Ikea try to give themselves the image that they are loving and caring European company....but we honestly feel that they are using a company like this, as a tactic to try and make you give up!!!Shocking behaviour Ikea!!

They are useless, always side with retailers, my laptop was damaged during a repair process done by Currys under manufacturer warranty. I requested a replacement which they refused and tried to blame me for the damage, my laptop returned with many scratches and dents on the casing aswell as a webcam that hasn't worked since repair! Appalling customer service by both sides and still no resolution found! This has also left me out of pocket of £807.00

The determination date of this claim was 3 months ago and its 9 months since the problem occurred. I suspect this a take enough time and they will go away service" that the retailers pay for.A straight forward and inexpensive claim but I'm logging my time and will claim it back from Ikea or CDRL when it ultimately ends up in small claims court. UPDATE : Blimey it took a long time but finally got a determination in MY FAVOUR

Don’t waste your money. A biased service that favours the retailer.

Wish I could give CDRL a review of MINUS 5 Stars. Terrible service. Not remotely independent! Or helpful! Or even reachable!I contacted CDRL after I purchased a dryer from an external retailer which set on fire due to a *known* manufacturing fault (aka was sold a dryer from them that they knew set on fire!) I was offered a deal from CDRL which has actually put me out of pocket... but the worst thing is, the offer I have been offered I have to accept within 7 days, but there is absolutely no way of accepting it!! The user interface allows for no communication between claimant and claim handler (and no option of an email/telephone call/social media to contact either!) - so how can I even accept it, I can't physically do it? This is a terrible company, with a really inaccessible process, interface and procedure, that I have been offered no extra support with as a disabled person either. Truly terrible! Stay away.

The Retail ADR service gets provided by CDRL, I filed a complaint about ASOS because they permanently blocked my account for allegedly making too many returns. However throughout my customer lifetime I kept 33% of items from my orders, which I consider to be a perfectly reasonable purchase/return ratio for online distant shopping whereby items cannot be inspected first-hand prior to purchase. To my dismay, the CDRL adjudicator rejected my claim, upon reading the final determination, it seemed like the adjudicator was solely focused on reciting support for the respondent’s position whilst ignoring the merits of my case. The flaws in the respondent’s comments went unquestioned and the compelling evidence of my claim was neither tested let alone acknowledged. Also to make matters worse, the adjudicator refused to suggest any remedies, which left my dispute unresolved and feeling very one-sided. The result was of course unsurprising having seen the online reviews before making my complaint.

If I could rate 0 I would.Working purely for the energy companies in millions of pounds profit. No regard for customers, extremely slow service and difficult to negotiate portal.Apparently £90 is sufficient compensation for having no heating or hot water for 32 days when temperatures were as low as -9°

Waste of time, don’t bother with them, avoid and go to court straight away. They don’t read your complaints nor allow you to upload your evidence.Their job simply to waste your time and make you lose further money.

Unfortunately , no option for negative rating. Otherwise it should go to Negative infinite. They clearly work for retailers. Offered £100 compensation for nearly 2 years of hassle , loss of income and inconvenience. That too saying claim fails. Although I clearly proved that the complaint was made before what's recorded with currys and never properly recieved a response from currys. I believe: that £100 should be kept by CDRL as a change. I don't need it. Thanks
