What a beautiful tranquil place to sit and relax by the water on the sand or pebble beach. Or take a walk. Perfect afternoon out on a sunny day. Plenty of picnic benches along the side of the path. Or take your own camping chairs. Lots of space for all. Free parking too.

No toilet facilities here but it’s not far to walk round the reservoir to the other car park where there are facilities.Lovely little spot for a picnic and then walk and ice-creams!

Great spot , only a few miles out of harrogate and easy to get to and park. This particular car park has very easy access to the lake … including wheelchair access and picnic tables (think about x5) … normally and ice cream vendor is there , but in good weather. Recommend wellies if you go and it’s wet or has been raining … walk around is c. 5k and relatively flat. Note … If you do both there’s quite a bit of uphill.

Lovely walk around fewtson reservoir, the paths are easily accessible and reasonably clean and dry for an outside attraction..You can walk along the edge of the water in some parts and play on the shingle beaches.. the birds love you if you bring them a bit of bird feed even to the point they’ll catch it mid air.. time it right on day break and sun set you’ll get some fabulous pictures across the open water…
