Had a fab weekend stay with my family, the park is spotless and the pods were amazing added bonus that they had a shower and toilet. The hot tubs were a big hit with the kids too and the play park on site was ideal as well as they were so close to the pods. Very friendly family orientated place we took our 4 month pup away with us for the first time and was a bit wary of how he would be but he was super chilled and content . We will definitely be booking back up again this summer the site isn't that big so you can let the kids run about freely and not need to worry about them getting lost .

We visited as a family of four mid July. We enjoyed our stay in the deluxe glamping pod. Our pod was clean and well equipped, shower unexpectedly lovely. There are onsite showers that are available for those who don't have the deluxe pods but I didn't try these out. They never looked busy either!.Highlight was our hot tub and fire pit. Well looked after by the onsite staff.Plenty of bed space though not the most comfortable of mattress. I can't fault for this as it is glamping after all but I'd probably being some sort of matress topper next time.I had a wee walk around the site one morning and was greeted by 4 peacocks outside our pod - lovely wee surprise.

Camping pod was clean and well kitted out. Hot tub was good that were strict about dog being on lead even when just lying in the decking. A wee bit in the middle of no where and shops are a little scarce.

The place was gorgeous. It's a very welcoming small family owned park, lovely views as it's sat on top of a hill. Kids loved it, the dog loved it. We stayed in the pinecone lodge and it was spotless, the hot tub on the decking was the highlight and it sat right next to the kitchen window for easy access to the help.. (wife) Will definitley be back. The owner lives on site and runs the park and is more than helpful and welcoming.

Glamping Pods - On arrival we noticed how clean and well maintained the area is. We phoned to get our lock code for the pod which was all really quick. Luckily we had a signal with EE as another guest had to use our phone to phone the office due to no signal. Shortly after we called, Laura came down and showed us how to operate the hot tub. She was very nice.We stayed in the Millburn deluxe pod. The pod was very clean and again looked well maintained. The pod was very spacious, bigger than I Imagined it would be. There is parking right beside your pod to help with storing or moving stuff to and from the car.The pods for the size, are well kitted out. There is a microwave, fridge, kettle, electric heater, TV and a small bathroom with a shower. Our pod had enough beds to sleep 6 people. The hot tub was the one thing that sold us in booking and It did not disappoint. We had a lovely time and our kids absolutely loved it being in it. You are unable to use the hot tubs after 11pm due to the noise as this may annoy the neighbours. The hot tub area had hooks to hang up towels/clothes but they were unusable due tons of cobwebs. Some sort of brush to clean these would have been handy. There is a picnic bench for sitting outside and eating. This is close to the fire pit. The fire pit is decent sized and was great for cooking dinners. You do require logs to keep the fire going. The site does provide logs for a cost and there is a sign that said all logs must be purchased on site, however we didn't know this and we had already brought our own. Beside each bench/pit there is 2 bins, general rubbish and a glass bin which was very handy. The man who maintains the hot tubs/grounds was always very friendly, always gave a smile and when my wife spoke with him he was really nice to us.There is a small park to keep the kids amused for a while. Our 2 spent plenty of time here. It was very close to the pods that we had no trouble with them making their way to and from the park on their own as they were always within full sight. The only poor thing about the pods was lack of WiFi. They do advertise free WiFi and yes there is but don't expect to be using this for Netflix or anything else heavy, especially if it's being used a lot around the holiday park. As far as I'm aware all the caravans make use of this WiFi connection and this will be stretching the bandwidth. At best I was seeing around 1.5mbps download inside and around 5mbps (at best) outside. The park is quite a distance out in the country, this is most likely the reason for rubbish broadband.Mobile coverage is very patchy. If you are on Three/Smarty you have zero Chance of coverage. My wife was getting 4G coverage with EE but this was very slow, at most I seen was around 4mbps (inside). Vodafone are apparently good here and also o2. I'd recommend checking your networks coverage checker if you're bothered about a connection. The pods have a TV aerial so you will get Freeview channels and this worked fine. We hardly used the TV due to the nice weather and the hot tub. If you have decent mobile coverage with plenty of data and have a fire stick, the TV has a HDMI port that you can plug the fire TV into and use this with a mobile hotspot. There is no local shops nearby so make sure you bring plenty of food and water or you'll need to drive just over 9mile to find a local shop. There was an ice cream van that showed up on our second day. I'm not sure if this frequently visits but it was well welcomed due to the heat.Make sure you also bring bedding/pillows as these are not provided. We took sleeping bags with us and the pod was relatively warm during the night. There is an electric heater for winter nights when it's cold. A multi socket extension is recommended for charging phones etc if you have more than 5 devices. In total we had 5 connection points in the pod. We used an extension just to keep them in the one placeOverall, the 2 nights we stayed here were fantastic. I'd highly recommend coming here. We will most definitely rebook in the future.
