All the rooms are terribly ventilated windows only open a tiny crack, which is a problem if it is sunny at all during the day it gets very hot, especially on the south facing rooms of the building. If you are drying anything it takes ages to clear the moisture/humidity. laundry costs an absurd amount and the machines frequently double charge your account or swallow the money and never start washing. Heavily overpriced rooms to begin with. Constant fire alarms going off at all hours from even the steam from people's showers.Maintenance issues are usually dealt with quickly, and this is the only reason it isn't one star.

A really lovely, welcoming place to live as a student. Excellent facilities in a very modern building with friendly caring staff. In a great location for University of Plymouth and the Barbican! Really pleased this is where I chose to live for my Masters.

Amazing first year Accommodation!! Ideal location for both uni and social activities like clubbing, and only across the road from the Barbican so literally surrounded by everything you need!! Lovley receptionists aswell <3

I have booked this place last year as well as this academic year and I have yet to have any major issues, staff is very attentive and friendly , rooms are very modern have have plenty of storage space , my neighbours are very courteous specially towards me if you can get a place defiently wroth it. the staff also do special event for xmas, valentines and they even brought a waffle stand for every one one time it was a great experience I even got a discount coupon for next time

Can't recommend Capitol Students enough!! All of the staff (housekeeping, maintenance, security and reception) are so friendly and helpful. Michelle and Chanelle at St Teresa House are so considerate of the residents and genuinely make my day brighter!
