I arrived early for my appointment, and I was seen shortly after arriving. My cat was very unhappy at having been put in her travel crate but David was very kind and had her calm in no time. He the examined her fully then gave her the booster. All the staff at the vets have always been friendly & helpful for all the years I have been using their services.

Just want to say a huge thank you to this veterinary hospital, over the past few years they have gone above and beyond for our dog Hurley. When the time came last week to say goodbye to our old boy all the staff at the vets offered nothing but compassion. A special thanks to Charlotte, who made the process so calm and peaceful, her professionalism and kindness really helped us through such a hard decision.

Harry was in hospital for a long time and was cared for wonderfully. The staff understand the distress to an owner whose pet is sick and are empathetic and explain clearly what is going on with your petMore recently Harry had to go back to the hospital at #west bar veterinary hospital. One of the top vets and I believe partners in the business was aware of my anxiety as my cat is 20 yrs old. Sophie, the vet, kept me up to date and even sent photos of him

Really needed help with our dog Sam. He took poorly on our holiday in our narrow boat. We rang the surgery and a very helpful and calm receptionist told us to bring him down straight away. They looked after him for 4 days & nights before returning him all fit and well to continue our journey. If you need a vet these are the guys! A massive Thank you from Mark, Julia and Sam the sheep dog.

I am absolutely disgusted with the emergency out of hours care (or lack of!) I received from a particular man (i'd normally say gentleman but he was anything but!) from westbar, the way in which he spoke to me was completely uncalled for, he should not be in a job where he has to deal with people, he was extremely rude and judgemental without knowing anything about me. I called at 12 am very concerned about my cat. I'm not with westbar, but I was advised to call and try them from my own vets (vets4pets) as it was closer for me than having to try and get my cat to their emergency care which is in Woodstock. The man I spoke to was miserable the minute he answered! I appreciate it was late at night, but still, there is always room for manners! Regardless of his snotty answer I still POLITELY explained the situation with my cat, and the derogatory response I received was, Well

Senior partner Clive Maderios colludes in court with animal abuse in relation to the horse abused in Leicestershire by former teacher who is an abuser Sarah Moulds that went viral . Who thank you to Clive disagreeing with RSPCA and another Vet who knows about abuse fear and trauma done to animals by people , Clive used as defence clearly doesn't know about trauma and abuse, now the jury found her not guilty. I've put one star to put a review on . Who on earth would trust a vet like this who lacks empathy as well. I hope West Bar Vets re consider who they should work with.

Wonderful vets. They looked after our old girl right up to her last moments. They were caring, kind and professional. After our beloved cat had left us, they sent us a condolence card which meant so much to both my wife and I.Would recommend highly. Thank you West Bar Vets.

Had to visit WestBar vets as an emergency appointment after my dog was attacked. From the second we called until Lou was discharged they were kind and calm and extremely professional. I was really distraught but they calmly explained what she needed, and even allowed me to visit her to reassure me that she was okay. Thankfully after their care my old lady is back on the sofa where she belongs. Can’t recommend them enough Thank you
