Loddon Valley Leisure Centre

The sports hall floor is full of multi colour line markings for various sports, don't know which sport we are playing while booked for badminton, the lighting is very odd and falls directly into your eye, the area is separated by curtains and given to martial arts at the same time we play. What is this???Value for money :0They charge 15£ per 1 hour Badminton Court. Absolutely minting money

Went for soft play today. Seemed like a lovely play area but would not recommend in the holidays as there was too many children there. I found the space was not big enough for the number of children allowed. Parents do not watch their children which resulted in a few children ruining the experience for most.

The overall cleanliness of the floors and changing rooms wasn’t great. The atmosphere around the ‘small pool’ more dir you get ones was cold, as staff kept using a door that blew a draft in. The water was cold. Too cold for me to submerge into and my two children were teeth chattering the whole time we were there. Managed 35mins and got out. I won’t be returning.

Went swimming in the training pool. The pool was cold and wasn't that big. But the kids had fun anyway.Family Changing room units are not big.Clean and tidy. There are hairdryers available.The soft play room is fantastic.quiet big and on 3 levels. Best one I've seen in the club so far.

Been regular here for indoor games. We used to play badminton very week for about 4-5 hrs and after covid the prices have shot up . The staff are rude and courts are blazing with lights, which makes it very difficult to play.

For anyone looking at getting a membership, be careful. Even when checking in at the front desk, you may find you will be charged for a 'Non-attendance fee'. This has occurred frequently (3 times under 2 months)I would insist anyone get a membership card to do self check-in if they want to come here, which wasn't offered to me at first until I complained. I wouldn't recommend coming here, and I will myself be leaving once the contract ends and finding somewhere elsewhere.

Amazing pool 3 lifeguards on duty , very clean perfect . Only thing I did not like is that during family time there's people swimming laps when there s a time just for that . Really took the joy out of it . Should not be allowed. Amazing place and the front staff so helpfull

One of my most positive fitness experiences. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good range and availability of classes, instructors are welcoming and helpful when you're new to a class. Doesn't feel intimidating when you're not a regular or super fit. Decent range of equipment in the gym, at least for a beginner, and don't tend to wait long, if at all, for something to free up. Would love to see more variety of leg machines between the weightlifting and cardio sections as a few common ones are missing. Swimming is easy to book and have been able to go at convenient times. Just wish some swimmers were more considerate of others, like leaving enough room for quicker swimmers to pass or fast swimmers not staying in the slow lane when the medium lane isn't busy. Can be frustrating when others aren't aware of their surroundings but not really something the leisure centre can control. Never had a major issue with changing room cleanliness although the changing rooms are a bit dated. Floors are a lot better since the signage to remove outdoor shoes has been more prominently displayed. Only knocked off one star as the car park can be busy sometimes and feels a bit small compared to the size of the centre and although the facility has everything I need, it feels a bit pricey for a leisure centre.

Great soft play area. Loads to do and the kids love it too. The guns need fixing so you can shoot the balls but my kids love it. Had 2 birthday party's there. Staff are friendly and helpful.
