Fortress Gym in Stroud is welcoming and extremely well-equipped. I'm often on the road for work and was looking for a top gym in Stroud to train in.Fortress Gym has all the equipment an experienced lifter could wish for. Plenty of barbells and plates, dedicated lifting platforms and even a monolift! Their recovery room is awesome and they even have a protein slushy machine!I would highly recommend Fortress Gym to anyone looking for a gym membership in Stroud or is passing through and needs a day or week pass for a great gym with a great community.

The equipment in fortress is the best! Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel so welcome. It’s a lovely community! The owners Tommy and Becks are just lovely and have made it a really great place to train.

This was the best gym in which I've ever trained!I'm gutted that I'm here on holiday because I would pay so much to access an extensively equipped gym like this.

Best gym in the West. Don't let the big weights and black walls fool you. This place is about community, learning, and lifting. Friendly people, great space and equipment which is suited to beginners and the professionals.The owners don't just preach. You'll find them in there, lifting with everyone else. Get on their Socials and see the amazing kit they've got on offer.

Phenomenal equipment and environment. But most importantly the welcome is on another level. Tom and Becs always have time for us, and make my wife and I feel like we're part of a nuturing community that really care about our progress. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and feel really lucky to have found them.

Amazing place and amazing kind people, havnt been to a gym for years but this is far the best one, Tommy and becks (owners) are the kindest most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. Very supportive and are happy to help you in anyway they can.Join up guys you won’t be disappointed!They welcome you with open arms and make you apart of the team but also like family

Its good to have a gym that caters for all age groups ,led by people who really know what they are doing . Both Tom and Bec have a solid background in all aspects of what they have on offer, which leads to a very professional and safe environment.
