great treatment always. never had a bad hair cut. stylists are always chatty and friendly. wouldnt trust anywhere else with my hair

Great welcoming staff, nothings too much trouble and that's before the haircut! I love going to this salon, Emma who cuts & colors my hair is a pleasure & a remarkable hairdresser. A great cutter & has a good eye for what suits the individual, with great ideas too. Every time I go I'm always more than happy with the results!✂️

I have had no choice but to find another hairdresser I have been using the hair studio for over a year and twice now my appointment has been cancelled due to double booking so I’m advised in yet when I made the appointment at the end of getting my hair done January was free and Zoe confirmed this, I now believe that someone has come along either a friend or a more costly job and I’ve been cancelled for this to happen twice it’s just not on. My last appointment was Nov and was very much in need on my January appointment I was told I could have 12 Feb but it would be 2 separate hairdressers doing it. The hair studio is one of the most expensive salons in Poulton and I do NoT expect this kind of treatment, get your booking system sorted out otherwise more customers will be going elsewhere, unless of cause this is just happening with me.

Just had my hair cut by Harriet and I love it. The salon is really nice and spotlessly clean. Harriet was really professional, understood what I was looking for, and knew what cut would look work best with my hair type. It's been 6 months since I had my hair cut and I couldn't be more pleased, thank you!

I used to go regularly to The Hair Studio to have balayage done by Amy, and she was perfect and it was something I really looked forward to. But I suddenly wasn’t able to go anymore as I lost my job in my dream career and became severely depressed and anxious. It was over a year before I could afford to go and get my hair done, and I was only able to go after I got money for a present to go. I saw Amy no longer worked there so I booked in with someone random, she had shown me how to use the website; however when I got down and seated the stylist told me that I had booked wrong on the website so he would do highlights in my hair, however I hadn’t booked in for a cut and blow dry so I would have to leave the salon basically with wet hair. This obviously sends my anxiety through the roof. I sit under the heat for far too long without anyone coming to check on my hair because he had got a new client who was obviously a regular, I eventually get taken to have it washed and someone very generously blow dries it but I’m not able to have it cut. The stylist then never says another word to me as I finish and leave. I later get home and realise that he has left the bleach in too long at the front near my roots, I have photos with date stamps, and because he wasn’t paying my hair attention the hair has actually gone grey where it’s been left too long. I know I could’ve gone back or said something at the time about having to just sit and wait but the experience made me feel so stupid it was embarrassing; and when you have anxiety something like that is really hard. It just made me so sad that a once regular was overlooked.
