Pleasant surroundings and a nice day out.The fishing wasn't good, but it was a cold day towards the end of November. The day ticket price was cheaper than a lot of other fishery's I've been too. There's a small cafe which does hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices. There are 24 hour toilets available and they are clean! The track down from the road needs work as it's a suspension breaker!

We stayed here recently for 5 days. A brilliant campsite with very good amenities. The kids loved feeding the Alpacas and we also enjoyed a spot of fishing. The owners were very friendly too. I would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely location to visit, friendly hosts. Cafe and shop is wonderfully old school ,tasty snacks and recycled alpaca products for sale. Really is a great place, always made to feel welcome.

Excellent little gem of a place. We stayed in the tipi tents and did 2 days of fishing. The whole site is very well managed and nothing is too much trouble for the fantastic owners and staff. Plenty of match fishing goes on here so good to check in advance which lakes are available for pleasure fishing. The kids loved feeding the alpacas and horses (food available to buy at just £1 per bag) and had a great time glamping. We will definitely be returning in the future.

1st impressions, the driveway down was quite bumpy with hundreds of potholes.Pool easily accessed from the car park.Conditions were excellent yet the pool failed to produce anything that would be a memorable catch. And the peaceful atmosphere was none existent listening to someone cutting wood up with a chainsaw for over 2 hours. I will not be coming again.

Beautiful place to fish, stayed 48 hours and loved every minute. Food in the cafe is spot on, cooked to perfection. Very well maintained. Will definitely be back!!

10/10 for our 2 night tipi break.Spotlessly clean inside and out.Two single beds, gas stove and kettle and some camping cutlery provided. Also your own chairs, firepit and bench.Tea,coffee biscuits provided as well as recycling bins.We took our own bedding, cutlery food drink so you have to be totally self sufficient but that's the point. You park near reception and walk down(2 mins) it's very quiet down there.A totally relaxing break with a nice walk right round the back of the pools. The owners and especially their daughter who worked tirelessly to keep them clean are very friendly and we love it.Tgank you

Lovely site, fantastic for fishermen, and close to great locations like Dudley zoo and steam railway. Alpacas on site are friendly and a great addition. Facilities are clean and well maintained but, and it is a huge but, these are at the bottom of a VERY steep hill from the camp area. For mobility challenged campers you may struggle to climb back. Highly recommended site, but this needs to be considered.
