We are very pleased with DKD from start to finish.We started looking for kitchen designer and fitter to renovate our kitchen in March 2023. We looked through the options from some chain brands several times but there was something that cannot convince us moving forward. Then in April we tried to see what DKD could help with. Mary was very helpful and patient. After understanding what we were looking for, actual measurements, and several adjustments, she showed the design and illustration which was what we wanted. She also gave some very useful suggestions on choosing kitchen items, i.e. L-shape corner cabinets, which functioned well and matched the look. The quote included the kitchen and fitting but also the breakdown quote of the building work required, which was very clear and helpful (some other brands didn’t give the quote on building works unless order placed).We placed the order and the entire work started in late June 2023 and last for two weeks. First week was the building work and kitchen fitting was in the following week. Throughout the work, DKD had a team (a project manager and building work manager) to communicate with me, discussing ideas and answering my questions. Julian the fitter was very amazing , experienced and helpful. We can see he worked to a high standard that he was pride of. He was also very patient, and willing to explain and answer questions. We knew kitchen renovation could be stressful but we did not feel anything like that. All work was going on smoothly.It’s late October now and after several months using the kitchen, we are very happy about our choice with DKD, the quality of the material, the building work, the fitting and the final look, we are satisfied.Highly recommended DKD!

We are absolutely over the moon with the kitchen that we had designed and installed by DKD. Thank you so much to Leah for designing our dream kitchen. We were lost for words when Leah showed us the design as she had really understood what it was we were looking for.We were very indecisive at times (!) but Leah patiently guided us through the process and was always so helpful and responsive with any queries we had.Jamie did an excellent job fitting the kitchen and really paid attention to detail during the process. Lauren was also so helpful dealing with any queries after the kitchen had been fitted.We are so pleased that we went with DKD for our kitchen and would recommend them 100%.

Mary designed us a fabulous kitchen that functions well, we’ve always had compliments on it and 4 years later the daily enjoyment and appreciation of our kitchen still stands! We’ve since had fitted wardrobes from them and recommended DKD to family who’ve been equally delighted. Mary has a pretty unique ability to understand exactly your tastes and style and she comes up with practical and innovative solutions on the spot that you’d not ever think of. We were fussy customers who changed our minds a lot during the design process and they’d never let us feel bad about it. Nothing we asked was too much hassle. Their builders and kitchen fitters were no trouble either. I couldn’t fault the service we received from DKD and would heartily recommend them if you want great quality at a competitive price.

Excellent service, excellent staff and AMAZING kitchen! My husband and I are so chuffed with our new kitchen/diner. We had 2 walls knocked through, a new wall and door built and a new kitchen installed. We could not be happier with the whole process from start to finish. Everyone at DKD are professional, helpful and genuinely seemed to care about giving us the best results. The builders, plumbers, electricians, kitchen fitters, surveyors and everyone involved were absolutely brilliant and went the extra mile for us. I have never known anything like it! It all seemed to happen so fast too, which was great.Thank you so much to DKD, I would highly recommend using them and an extra thanks to Mary and Steve for overseeing it all. THANK YOU!

We are delighted with our new Kitchen Diner. Mary patiently took the extra time to understand our requirements over multiple consultations. Her design made excellent use of the space. The building team took good care of the house. Nic's kitchen installation demonstrated great attention to detail, he is a true professional.The office team are well organised and took the stress out of having to project manage everything. Inevitably there were snags. These were rectified without question, no matter how picky we were.

DKD have been brilliant from start to finish. Mary knew what I wanted before I did. I was starting to move away from my original idea, not because I didn't still love it but because it was a bit different. She encouraged us to go with it and I'm so glad we did. We love it. It looks amazing and the layout (all Mary) is perfect. I can reach everything in one step. There were some delays to the appliances (out of DKDs hands) and Lauren kept us updated regularly. We also had an extension and renovation on 2 floors and Mary arranged for Steve, Paul and the team to do all the renovation work. They have been amazing too. It hasn't been an easy job, things have changed and been added as we have gone along but they have adapted to it all. They are honest with their opinions and lovely to have around (which is a lucky considering how much they are around). They have come up with solutions for every challenge and even managed to get an extra room from a great idea, which took very little extra work. And both the kitchen team and building team worked really well with the architect and designer which made life a lot easier. Definitely recommend!

DKD designed and fitted our kitchen in late august / september. Apologies for the late review.From start to finish the experience of having a new kitchen designed, delivered and fitted by DKD was pleasurable, straight forward and seemless. Their collaboration with the builders mount renovation meant that there was no delays in the process from designing, building and finally fitting the kitchen. Leah who started the process of designing the kitchen with us rather than for us was very kind, funny and highly skilled at her job. No decisions were ever a problem and she clearly worked through all the process decisions at a steady pace for us. She liased with Paul and Sarah to pass on all the details of our kitchen. Paul and his highly professional team made the building process a breeze as we didnt have to chase anyone to turn up. They organised that all for us. Their work was outstanding and they were polite, on time, sociable and fun to work with.Scott and Luke fitted the kitchen, and they continued on the professional process and clearly asked for our decisions when required during the fitting. Pat on the backs to you both for the hard work you did for us. Also cheeky chaps aswell.The builders liased with their recommended decorator Richard who then painted the walls. Nothing too much trouble for him and fitted us in at very short notice. Its a shame he's too busy to do other decorating.Lauren project managed the whole kitchen project and did an amazing job.Thanks for the flowers.Fully fitted the kitchen looks amazing and even better than the cad renders that Leah sent to us after the initial design.We still have to pinch ourselves every morning as the kitchen now is beyond our original expection and it has transformed the house. Jokingly we feel grown up to have a kitchen like this now from an original kitchen that was large but non functional as a kitchen / dinning area.We would recommend DKD 100% to anyone who needs a new kitchen and requires your expertise and professional staff. The same goes for the builders mount renovation, the fitters and Richard the decorator.Great team work. Thanks to allMartin, Denise and ElliePs the kittens love finding new hiding spaces in the cupboards now. Lol

We are so pleased with our new kitchen from DKD. It absolutely meets and exceeds our expectations. DKD have produced a beautiful kitchen-living-dining space for us. Not only is it stunningly beautiful it is functionally so well designed, that after six months' living in it, we can't think of anything we'd change.We have to say that going into a significant building project is not for the faint-hearted, but DKD's professional and supportive approach throughout the design, building, and after-sales processes made the experience as painless it could possibly have been.We came to DKD with some rough ideas of what we wanted, and an optimistic budget! DKD took plenty of time to listen to us, and showed us the possibilities available. This really helped us make the best use of our space - with several schemes going through the CAD process to help us get a feel of what the finished design would look like (so accurate that we sometimes still feel like we're living in one of Yappi's CAD drawings!).Having DKD's team carry out both the building work and kitchen installation worked very well for us. It was so much easier to have a single source than having to project-manage and co-ordinate a bunch of separate contractors. It meant that they all worked together, so that nothing was overlooked, and we're sure it helped keep the timescales down, too.It would be impossible in a project of this size, for every aspect to go completely smoothly and according to plan, but whenever necessary, DKD rose to the mark and delivered with a smile.
