This was a booking for three, one adult, 2 children. The staff were friendly and professional. I informed the waitress that my youngest grandson was allergic to orange, she checked with the chef and informed me that the tomatoes would be excluded as they are on the same shelf next to the oranges.Although on booking I was informed of the time given for the meal, I checked with the waitress and the table wasn’t booked in the evening, we were not rushed at all.The meal was really tasty and we all enjoyed our meals, great atmosphere. Thank you

Food was gorgeous, service was 10 out of 10 and atmosphere was great. Second time here but plenty more to come. Young Server was really polite with a smile. Didn't see a name but thank you.

The hunters chicken here was absolutely lovely. I couldn't fault the food. Staff were friendly, but it wasn't well explained how to order. I went up to the bar and was told to sit back down and order on the app, but I didn't know what app. Otherwise it was a lovely meal in a clean restaurant, not too noisy either.

Go to restrant near me. Allways good food. Burgers are awful but everything else is incredibly tasty.

Excellent service! Staff were lovely and attentive. Food was hot, bought out in good time and super tasty! Venue itself felt clean and welcoming. This was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last! Especially as it is pet friendly and we can bring our dogs with us. The water bowl and treat pots for the dogs were a lovely touch!

Nice little pub restaurant. Stopped here for a pint and a meal after a trip around the North of England.. Lots of seating and parking. Food and beer were a fair price for the area.Definitely worth a stop if you're hungry.

Excellent food. Attentive staff.We were seated very quickly and a drinks order taken. Food order was taken in good time.We didn't gave to wait long at all for our food, which was delicious, especially the fish and chips. The children enjoyed their meals too. Desert order taken not long after we'd finished the main course and desserts brought out promptly.Another great dining experience in the Sugar Mill.

We invited some friends to join us this time as we had been once before and enjoyed it. We had heard the pub had gone downhill but we certainly wouldn't agree with that as we found it excellent. Staff friendly, food good and service excellent. We will be back.
