Travelled from Liverpool Lime street to Wigan this evening it was changed to a coach service to Huyton were we had to wait an hour for the transfer and when I asked to use the toilet at the station was denied use for no apparent reason. Totally unnecessary behaviour from the lady in the ticket office.

Rude and exceptionally unprofessional behaviour from the man in the ticket office. Not the first time I am treated badly, and northern themselves emailed to confirm the staff at this ticket office are wrong to not sell plus bus at young person rates. Today I was refused service, made late for work and threatened when asking for the staff members name. Clearly others have had issues here as well. Not sure what their problem is with passengers.

I come here every day to get to school. There are 4 platforms (3 which are active).Platform 1 and 2 are for arriving at Liverpool lime street.Platform 3 is to arrive at Wigan and Manchester Victoria.I have had no problems with the station so far, people don't bother you, just an average station really. There are limited staff in the station who aren't very helpful and can sometimes take a while with your order. As a whole, Huyton train station had a nice atmosphere with quiet taking people and a seating area for you to sit.

Best station in Liverpool. Get the train here even if you have to walk further. This is the last station before the tracks split for Wigan and Manchester meaning you can go to both Wigan and Manchester with extreme convenience. Trains to Liverpool are so frequent it's almost boring how easy it is. Unless there's a replacement bus service, in which case you'd be quicker walking. There's 4 platforms now and most of the trains are electric. This is a historically significant rail route, forming part of the world's first steam powered passenger service between Liverpool and Manchester. Heading out of Lime Street towards Huyton you will first go through the Edge Hill cutting - the world's deepest. Apparently they didn't know how to build railway tunnels back then. Once past Wavertree you will emerge onto an embankment through Broadgreen and Roby that was built with the spoil from the embankment works. Not your everyday common or garden suburban railway station I hope you will agree.

Small local station and not manned yesterday when i was there 8 july 23 and so if you needed help you had to use the call button to speak to people. Most trains delayed yesterday

Asked the older lady working in the Ticket office for some information. And the attitude was disgusting, bit My head off nearly. If she was one of my employees, I would sack her. Customer service was a disgrace really. Couldn't believe it. And it reflects on the business too. Shame on you.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the station. Always friendly, informative and helpful. I have travelled from Huyton the last 5 years to Wigan, Manchester, Liverpool and recently to Wavertree . The staff have always helped inform me on best price, platform etc. Today I was so happy they had found my lost front door key last week and want to thank you all for your customer care x

Information screens down asked ticket office guy which platform the next train to lime St departs from - platform 1 he told me and the 8 people before me. As we sit here like a lemon the train has just departed from platform 2. When challenged he shrugged and said so what! Fuming at his rudeness.this is not the first complaint on here about staff rbad attitude - when will Merseyrail respond?
