Pete and his team have been servicing and repairing my Mercs for more than 10 years. My small fleet includes an A Class, B Class and 300SL-24. The 31-year old SL has proved the most challenging of the three but Pete has always fixed complex electrical and mechanical problems while offering excellent service and value for money. All this is delivered with a great sense of humour.

Fearing that my wife's car had developed an issue with the gearbox and specifically the speed sensor on the gearbox as it appeared to be changing gears erratically. I called into Merx looking for some advice. I was initially advised a diagnostic test would be about £45.00, which I was happy to pay compared to Merc prices. Anyway the long and short is that after hooking up my car to the star diagnostics, took few attempts to connect and a chat with the owner, because nothing was shown up I was not charged. Came as total surprise as had taken 20 mins put of their day. From my chats they clearly know a lot about mercy and did give me some other advice. So if ever you have an issue I'd recommend you pop in for a quick chat before getting the work done so you understand costs and if they think they could fix the fault. I'll defo be going back.

Took my 1988 Mercedes here after numerous other garages failed to fix issues with it. Finally took it here, even though it's out of the area for me. I should have done that in the first place. This garage is fantastic. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable and reasonably priced. This will be my go to garage from now on when I need a job doing properly. I would thoroughly recommend their services to anyone driving a Mercedes, be it a classic, or something more modern.

Pete is a fantastic Merx mechanic and truly professional. I've used his services for all my Mercedes cars and he goes the extra mile with all his work. He cleaned and polished my headlights as a nice gesture even though my car was only in for a new washer pump. If I could give 6 stars I would! The best Mercedes specialist around.

I booked my ‘88, 420SL into Merx for an issue with the wiper motor.Upon attending there, it was obvious how friendly the staff are and nothing seemed too much trouble.An hour later, I was back on my way.They are reasonably priced too. I’ll definitely be returning for any future work on the old car.

These people were great. they came out to assist us with a particular difficult problem with our Mercedes. Put in alot of effort and charged a very reasonable call out fee. Would highly recommend them. Thank you

Used Merx recently to fix a problem with a temperature sensor upstream of the turbo of my GLE 350 which was causing a Engine Warning Light to come on and (more seriously) limp home engine mode.They diagnosed the problem quickly and then helped me find a replacement (MB spares could not supply one for months).They fitted the sensor and then managed to clear the DPF faults that had also been raised by the engine management system.Costs were very reasonable (about 1/3 of MB garage), communications really good. Most importantly, they fixed the fault.I recommend this garage to you.

Merx Cheshire are fantastic, Peter and Kerry give an honest, straight forward, high quality service at a decent price. They always keep you informed if expensive repairs are needed too. True Mercedes specialists ! I completly trust them with my motors and that they will always do the right thing. I've used them for several years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you !!!
