Caversham Baptist Church

Very friendly people.Great participation by the congregation.Not just a sit and listen to lecture.Great anteroom with TV relay of the service.

The church is located right at the corner of a busy road junction and there’s a small car park at the rear of the historical building. Apart from the regular service on various days the church offers community services by accommodating upstairs a children’s nursery on days during the week. The access is narrow and difficult for young mothers who are forced to leave the push chairs etc at the bottom of the stairs.

The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff are so friendly. The best place to join and praise to the Lord. :)

I've been attending this church for nearly 30 years. Good teaching and friendly congregation. Fun bible based activities are available for children. Wheel chair accessible. Free tea and coffee after the service. Warm welcome guaranteed!

I am English Orthodox and speak only a few words of Romanian, Only maybe two words in a sentence for me, but this hasn't hindered my experience here with Fr John & the people, it is fantastic, I was welcomed immediately with open arms & have never once felt uncomfortable, although I seem to be the only English person here most of the time.Part of the service is in English, so not only do I feel I belong, it's educational on both sides, many people speak very good English including Fr John.One thing they do like to do after the service is, socialise and eat, they do like to feed me, I'm 6ft & 15 stone, (not from their food), although it is really good.I would without question recommend this now, 'MY' church to anyone Orthodox (or not)

Very lovely church i was in the hall down stairs and it's really nice with a good size kitchen. Plus a free carpark near park

Friendly family Baptist church with a reasonably diverse congregation.Sunday morning worship follows a contemporary style, well worth a visit.

Went to hear a lecture about famous gardeners Gertrude Jekyll and Robinson with presentation. Excellent well worthwhile.
