Unbelievably bad booking system, told weeks before I could get an appointment, but if I wanted to see if there is anything sooner ring after 18:30 for out of hours appointment. That number refers you to only Booked appointments and says to ring the surgery for an out of hours appointment.!!! Round and round in circles. No Coeliac care after 15 years, have to push for recommended annual tests past a barrage of clinical ignorance to the disease.Used to be a great surgery and must have cuts or over subscription now. Very disappointed and stressed. The respect so much lauded by the automated start to a call goes two ways and is NOT shown in return.

Receptionist not answering phone and when do hang up, disgusting behaviour from healthcare professionals. Patients are always supposed to come first or so I was taught when in a similar job role. Please provide more staff if current staff are struggling with work load, this will not only help your staff but build better relations with your patients and from what I have seen you need it.

This practice has descended into an unacceptable level of lethargy. Phone calls not answered, appointment times not met and staff that are quite obviously only there for the pay. Rude, short tempered, unethical in how they speak loudly about patients concerns etc. The practice needs to switch off and log back on to a realistic level of customer service. If everyone needs to be sacked and start over, then deal with it. Sorry for the one or two possible exceptions to this, but there needs to be a major and significant improvement immediately.

Recently moved to this gp as moved to area and I have had nothing but negative encounters. The receptionists don’t seem to answer the phone but when they eventually do they are extremely rude. Went in for my daughters immunisations and 2 receptionists were gossiping about another colleague loudly so everybody in the reception area could hear and then when I tried to get their attention to book ourselves in it was like I was an inconvenience as I interrupted their gossip. So unprofessional. I think they need some new staff or to put their staff on some training about how to deal with the public.

I have to say that I was treated with the most respect from the receptionist to Jenny who I had a appointment with. They made me feel very welcome and at ease. I know there have been problem's since covid. But I was very happy with my treatment.

I attended the surgery today for my monthly blood test. I was slightly apprehensive, as Tania, my usual phlebotomist, who is an absolute star, was on holiday.I was booked in with Carolynn, and was called in before I had time to sit down.What a lovely, chatty lady, who completely put me at ease.There are so many people who complain about treatment, lack of appointments and generally being dissatisfied with their GP surgeries, but there is nothing but respect and help from the hard working GP'S and staff at Mandalay Medical Centre.Thanks once again and Thank you Carolynn.

Rude receptionists, referral delayed with no reason given, multiple issues building up to make this a practice worth avoiding.Edit UPDATE: Was rudely told by a receptionist I don't want to talk to you" when I was told to call them via text then told that my appointment had been cancelled

Extremely rude and unhelpful reception staff with zero sympathy for patients. The pre-recorded voice when you call asks callers to speak politely and with respect or the call will be terminated. The receptionists should be held to the same standard.

Called to make a appointment, receptionist refused to access Pt records or take symptoms. Was told can not book appointment , have to call back 8 in the morning to be triaged. Did explain this is difficult given have to drop kids off to school and have work commitments and asked to book a appointment while on the phone. Receptionist told this is how they work and I have no other option. Been calling since 8 this morning and for two hours can not get through. The lack of Pt care is very concerning. The practice has no practice manager and when you try to speak to some one in charge , it is very difficult to establish who that is?
