Very intriguing place been shut down for about 30years but interesting to read about the decline and the photos in the kiosk window were interesting showing what it looked like before it was closed.

Such a staple to Weston’s history, beyond a shame that it’s being let fall into ruin. Our council need to keep pushing for the CPO and get this back to its former glory asap.

Such a shame to see Birnbeck pier rotting away like it has done for over 20 years. But whenever I visit Weston I will always head down to have a look at it, for nostalgia's sake. Always remember going on here before it closed, and my family getting drunk on the Scrumpies that was on offer.Here's hoping something can be done with Birnbeck and its surrounding area. Would be nice to see it redeveloped.
