Cliquey and exclusionary. More successful in persuading attendees to give up Christianity than take it up. I attended for two years and struggled to attend church for a few years afterwards. A common story from a number of people who attended Durham.

The inside of this church does not look anything like the outside. In fact, it is quite a surprise when you first walk in. Friendly and welcoming church. Sound Biblical teaching and a good mixture of ages in the congregation. The band was overpowering the Sunday I visited but that's probably a one off. The wooden floor doesn't help the acoustics I guess. A church with good teaching and pastoral care for students as well as being very mission minded.

The preaching is Bible based and glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. The congregation is fantastically friendly and welcoming. I always love going there.
