Wonderful place full of lovely helpful staff who go above and beyond! Got our Christmas tree from there and they couldn't have been more helpful, including carrying it home for me! (Down the road)

Oakgate Nursery & Garden Centre
A very decent local nursery, the star attraction are the small gardens which are delightfully laid out. The staff are extremely helpful, there are also very clean toilets and a pleasant tearoom. You can enjoy your pot of tea on the patio overlooking the fish pond and enjoy the view.

Visited today. Rained as normal but what a lovely garden centre. Nothing like Dobbies or Percy Throwers, a proper garden centre with lovely knowledgeable staff and very reasonable prices. Tea Rooms are absolutely excellent. A truly great place to visit.Bob H

Oakgate Nursery & Garden Centre
A lovely nursery tucked down a long pretty lane, complete with a good sized indoor cafe plus a really nice outdoor seating area surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, pond etc. A wonderful selection of bedding plants, shrubs garden pots etc. The garden is well worth walking around, beautifully laid out with a stunning variety of shrubs, water feature etc. no charge. Plenty of parking bays. Recommend.

Probably ine of the best selections of outdoor pots and plants I've seen. The staff were really.kniwledgeable too, pointing out the best plants for our balcony. We were really impressed and will be returning.

Oakgate Nursery & Garden Centre
A lovely garden centre and cafe. A very good selection of plants at very competitive prices. All the plants appear very healthy. The food in the cafe is also good value and tasty. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Easy to find and plenty of parking and disable parking next to the cafe and garden centre entrance. Lots of trolleys too for all your plants.

Fantastic, my friend snd I had a wonderful walk around the plants, then had tea cake and pot of tea each service was brillient, then we walked around the gardens neatly 3 hours we spent and it was peaceful and stunning

A group of us (12) booked for an afternoon tea. It was amazing. So much choice of food and plenty of it.The gardens are all well tended and the plants in the shop are reasonably priced.Now that we have found you, I'm sure we will visit again.

Adequate parking with some spaces assigned for disabled use. All pedestrian movement is along smooth, level hard paving.Whilst there was a limited amount of stock on sale (not surprising for the end of November). What there was, was in very good health. The selection of Christmas trees available were exceptionall.

This is an amazing place. Didn't mean to spend as much as we did, but worth it. The plants were fresh and the garden ornaments and pots were excellent. Well worth another visit, the staff are very helpful.
