Halfords - Dewsbury

How hard is it to get a click and collect order right? Every product has its own unique product code. I had to trail down again to swap it but at least they said sorry.

Had a new battery fitted this morning at 8.30 at the Dewsbury branch. My appointment was for 9 am but both staff I met immediately got on with replacing the battery. The young man who actually fitted the battery was excellent. Professional, pleasant and informative. I have no hesitation in recomending this store . I was driving away all done by just after 9 am. Thank you Halfords!

Helpful staff saved me from spending money on a new car battery which wasn’t needed. They offered genuine support. Their knowledge and expertise fixed the issue I was having with my old one.

Popped in today to get a new wing mirror. Apparently no longer available for my model/year of car so Rick came out, had a look, did some quick googling for one as close as possible a fit. They didn't have one in stock but suggested I order one online and go and collect at the Huddersfield store (where they did have one in stock, and if for whatever reason they didn't they would let me know and save me the drive). Anyway I know have a sparkly new mirror to drive all the way back to south of France with!Thanks very much for being so helpful!

Called in at Dewsbury Halfords to have a headlight replaced and received brilliant service from Rick.Previously I went to another local service who wanted to charge me in excess of £30 and take half an hour.For half the price and in less than 5 minutes the job was done.I normally associate Halfords with convenience but expensive. After today’s experience its now convenient, great value and excellent service!

Excellent service. Sorted the wing mirror needed. As not in stock found what we needed and referred us to the Wakefield store where it was in stock.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, never seen such poor customer service. Staff were rude, unprofessional and seemed clueless. Whilst I was waiting to be served I witnessed 3 other customers arguing with staff because of the service was so poor. Will not reccomend or use halfords ever. Called customer service and they were just as bad, clueless and unprofessional.

Ordered car battery on the app putting in my car registration, it then came up with the suitable options, from which i chose one and paid with the click and collect option.My partner went to collect and was then told it was wrong battery for my car, stating i needed a different one which was more expensive.The initial battery was £123 with my blue light discount (went through the app to order)The new battery was £179.99 so my partner contacted me to tell me, so asked him to inform them i have blue light discount as they could see from the original order, was told they would honor it, my partner then paid the extra cost.On checking the reciept it appears no discount was given and the initial dicount that was given was taken back as he had paid £ 56.22 making the £123.66 up to £179.99.Not happy as they said my dicount would be honored

I was served today by Ahmed & Afeefah at the Dewsbury branch.I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, but on this occasion, the high level of customer service when purchasing my battery was exceptional.Ahmed offered me a free battery test service to ascertain, if my battery required changing.Both of these members of staff provided the highest level of customer care & maintained the highest level of professionalism.They both had excellent product knowledge.They are a credit to your establishment.
