Lavender Health spa

Absolutely fantastic experience, ridiculously good price (did the gin & pamper deal), one of the best massages I've had and wonderful staff.

This was my first ever spa experience as a treat for my wife. Now its one of my favourite places to come and relax.

It was pleasant experience, beautiful place lovely and professional staff , really enjoyed their treatment ,strongly recommend to visit them if you're in Ireland.Now August 2023 visiting again to lavender while in Ireland and I can say that I have had quite a few massages over the years and I can honestly say that lavender is by far the best. I call them make you feel good at the time and even for a little while after, however 2 days after a session with Levendors I am still feeling the benefits. They makes you feel at ease, they discuss any problems you are having and will conduct the session to suit. I have been to Levendor on 2 separate occasions and I have never received the same massage, they differ depending on the problems I am having at the time.I will also like to thanks the Therapist Lauren,she is so warm and friendly. She gave a very thoughtful massage, asking if her touch was the right amount of pressure, and making sure I was comfortable throughout,. I liked the room the massage took place in, lighting, candles, soft relaxing music, sacred space. Really deep massage into my tissues, a lot of tension released. I would certainly recommend her. Great attitude and attention to detail.

I am so disappointed today as I was so looking forward to my evening at Lavender.My husband and I had been 2 or 3 times before and loved the couples retreat which USED to include the hydrotherapy room, hot tub and a treatment. Back then, the space was yours and yours alone so you knew you weren't going to be disturbed by other clients.Today we were taken straight to the hot tub for an hour (Too long in my opinion). I asked the girl why weren't we going to the hydrotherapy room and she said our package was for the hot tub only and that it had always been this way. Not true but was happy enough just to enjoy my downtime nevertheless.After our hour in the hot tub, we went for the massage. The therapist, while very polite, was not very good. I am studying massage myself and while I know I'm no expert yet, I do know that significant pressure should not be placed on bone. Tonight my shoulder blades are very sore and nearly feel bruised. I had two quite large knots in my shoulders which I know couldn't be worked out in one session but I felt like she spent little/no time on these areas. Apart from this, the massage was pleasant. Afterwards we were taken to the relaxation room where we had tea, water and sorbet... lovely! Until 2 mins later, the door opened and another couple walked in. Suddenly felt quite uncomfortable as I think we both were expecting we would have the room to ourselves.My husband and I made ourselves scarce and went down to our changing room, only to notice someone's makeup bag sitting out and the other two lockers closed. While it annoyed me a little that others were being inconsiderate, we thought we'd be left in peace to shower, change and put on a little makeup before leaving. Not the case. After a few minutes, we could hear talking outside then the door knocked and opened... one of the staff looked in and said are yous nearly ready??" With other said couple waiting behind her. Thank God we were actually dressed and didn't bother showering!!!We were made to feel like we needed to hurry up... the lady at reception even knew not to ask us did we enjoy ourselves. Just charged us the £150... we paid

Had a fantastic all body massage from Natasha. Really nice relaxing place. All the girls were lovely and welcoming. The treatment was great to receive and much appreciated. Easy parking area as well.

I attended Lavendar Spa recently and I was less than impressed with the service we received. I have been to Lavendar Spa on two previous occasions and unfortunately our last visit was a terrible experience. Firstly, the pool was very cold and once we got out we realised we weren't given any towels and so we had to dry ourselves with a hand towel at the bottom of the lounger.I received my treatment which was nice. However, after the relaxation area we went downstairs to have a shower but were then told the two showers have been out of action. We were less than impressed as nobody had told us at the time of booking or whenever we arrived at the spa. We were going out for dinner afterwards for my husbands birthday and I didn't expect to be arriving with unwashed hair which had oil from my facial in it. A shower is a simple amenity which you expect to be working at a spa.Furthermore, once I went to pay I was overcharged. I sent this query via Instagram where I had made the booking but nil reply and so I contacted the spa via email only to get no apology or explanation. Apparently I was booked onto a package even though I didn’t ask for it, and the package was dearer than the individual treatments which I had requested. Also, given the fact that the service was poor and the showers were not working it would have been courtesy to provide a discount. Needless to say I'm less than impressed with the service we received on what was meant to be a celebratory occasion. The spa did provide a refund but nil explanation or apology was provided, even though Helene told me she would speak to the staff involved almost 2 weeks ago…hence the need to leave a review.

Booked the couple's retreat with using the hot tub and massages for treatment. Staff were lovely and facilities are great.

First time going to a Spa and I was very impressed as I expected to feel uncomfortable but the setup was fantastic and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

We anticipated a much higher standard for the price of £200 for a couples experience. The water in the hot tub wasn’t overly hot, the champagne and chocolate that was advertised was extremely poor. As we were only given a tiny bowl of chocolate that seemed like it was bought from the bargain isle in Asda and a single small glass of champagne which tasted none alcoholic. The bathrooms attached to the hot tub smelled extremely bad and the showers didn’t work. After this was the massage, I wasn’t asked anything at all regarding how soft or firm I wanted it, at some points I felt like I was being oiled up more then massaged. It felt rushed. After this we were taken to a “relaxation suite” which was a large living room and given sorbet which my parter couldn’t eat as there was no choice of flavours. Essentially it felt as if we had paid almost £100 each for a poor massage. We heard good things about this spa so we were unfortunately disappointed and we definitely won’t be returning.

Had the most amazing experience in Lavender Health Spa last week! Everything was done to perfection and loved the treatment I received. The pool area was stunning and we had it all to ourselves, no other spa compares!
